Yep.. Barb is the best.. It wouldn't be the same if someone else portrayed Jeannie.. (I know I've said this in like a billion other posts... but BARB IS THE BEST!! lol)

Everyone needs to get over this "no one else can play these characters" it's sickening.

All you need is a good actor/actress to play the character. That's all.

Jessica Simpson isn't beautiful enough and her acting isn't good
at all.She should stick to singing.May be and unknown actress who have the same qualities as Barb but,I think there is only one Jeannie in the world:It's Barbara.

It's not that "no one else can play these characters" it's just that the people that have been mentioned to play them are the most horrible.. I just can't imagine Jessica Simpson saying "Yes master, I shall please thee" (no offense to anyone that likes JS).. They should do a better job in picking actors/actresses... It would be great if they made a new movie, but please please please pick someone DECENT that CAN act.. lol.. sorry I just find it funny..

She did two movies

ream chaser in 2001 and she did a cameo in The master in disquise.She's in a reality show with her husband called:Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica.I don't think it's enough to play such a memorable role like Jeannie.The actress who will be chosen had to have the same qualities that Barb has.

She could like the show.. But, I think the actress that should play Jeannie should be someone more experienced.. I mean, it's not that she's not beautiful enough.. If she only had more experience, it might be better... I guess everyone's entitled for opportunity and maybe one day she will be a fab. actress, but right now I don't think she's good for the role.. But who knows, maybe she will do it and it'll come out great.. maybe now.. I'm not one to judge, and I'm not a JS expert so I wouldn't know anyway :-D
