Maybe N@N is planning to repackage Teenage Marriage and Double Standard and some other "Jo" centered episodes into some sort of "Jo" marathon. Something on the order of the Blair-Tootie Project like they did last fall. C'mon, everyone knows Jo/Nancy is the most popular character on the show. What better way to "goose" the ratings!

A network will not buy the rights to a show for 2-3 years, show it for 9 months and then shelve it. As much as I despise my Economics class and sometimes I do not understand it, I understand that it would not be good economic sense to do that. A network has to satisfy supply and demand and that's what N@N thinks their current schedule is doing. Believe me, there is some economic sense behind it, just don't ask me to explain it!!Give it a rest folks.

those guy will change the schedule again soon, watch. they won't fol off the air. It's too popular. They slowing down so people won't tired of it as much. Can't explain what they're doing to Diff'rent Strokes though. N@N is a complicated network, take one schedule and stick with it.

I don't think N@N will take FOL off the air anytime soon. Even if FOL's ratings do go down, which I don't think they will just yet-they will probably switch the schedule again so that FOL will only be seen in the late morning, say around 4 or 5 a.m.- like they did with "The Wonder Years."

Suppose (and this is just wishful thinking....) they were to do this- maybe they would consider showing the controversial eps at such an odd hour when they know that little kids are not watching?

It's obvious to me that Nick at Nite has only a certain number of times they can air episodes of their shows. Since September, Facts of Life has been greatly overplayed with it being on Make Your Own Sunday as well as the Black History Month and airing two episodes in one evening. This new schedule gives Nick at Nite the chance to in a sense slow it down so they can continue airing The Facts of Life. If Nick at Nite was indeed planning on taking it off, which it probably won't, it would have pushed it to late night slots like Nick did with Taxi, WKRP, and most recently Laverne & Shirley. The only show I see Nick at Nite taking off anytime soon is in fact Laverne & Shirley.

It has occured to me that N@N has never done any promos on Jo. All the others have been in promos or voice overs (Blair laughing, Nat saying "Absoultely" and Mrs. G saying "Glad to". There was also the Blair and Tootie project--to include Tootie. When they did the "Facts of" spots, I never saw the Jo one. And it's obviuys from this board that Jo's the most popular character.
