The name of that character was Madam Yes,who somehow managed to lure Fred and Barney into all kinds of James Bond type of situations throughout that particular episode.

I refer you to my "Doctor Sinister" thread, where I note the comaprisons between that episode and Edgar Allan Poe's "The Pit and the Pendulum," and also the eerie simliarities bewtwwen the mad doctor - a freelance madman trying to terrorize the world - and Osama bin Laden. (They almost look alike, when you think about it. ) And he was the first of many Flintstones villains - including Big Head McRock and Stonefinger - that Fred and Barney would entagle with without their wives having any firsthand knowledge. (They did learn about Big Sparkle, though.)
