I haven't seen the episode in a while, but I remember thinking the girl was soooooo annoying. Like chewing tin foil.

Just finished watching this episode on the dvd. If anyone wanted to know the other songs they did during the Gong Show performance, they were "Mean ol' Lion" from The Wiz and "God Bless The Child" by Billie Holiday.

Here is an interesting tid bit about that bubbling brown sugar

it was a musical

a long time ago

that stephanie mills was in as a child

who ended up being in the musical the wiz as dorothy

with mabel king who left her run doing the wiz to be on whats happening.

you know i never realized how annoying that song was until i watched the ep on dvd after not having seen it for a very long time .but like ccryder 1968 said it is still ingrained in all of our minds. also this was also the ep that we were first introdcued to the new treat at robs place the ever popular meatloaf milkshake
