Default The "saddest" Brady episode

There is this syrupy music that is played during every concievable sad moment on the brady bunch - like violins playing.
It does make me sad each time.
For me, the three saddest moments that come to mind all belong to Jan.
1.- When Jan is in the bathroom rubbing lemon on her face because she thinks it will rid her of freckles then bursts into tears.

2.- When Jan explains to dad that he can't ground her from her bike because she sold it to pay for the portrait she damaged.

3.- Jan's loneliness when she wants to be an only child yet lives to regret it when her family gives her that wish.

Mine are the following:

1. "Juliet Is The Sun": the part where Marcia breaks down because she was removed from her Juliet role was a tearjerker "MOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!". Add to that the "Romeo and Juliet" theme song playing in the background.

2. "Brace Yourself": seeing Marcia deal with wearing braces from "I'm ugly ... ugly ... UGLY!!!" to "So you've all been bribed!!". However, it got humorous (no offense, Marcia!) with the jokes that followed, like Peter's "Too bad it won't hide your braces!" comment about her dress. Such dried up any tears that could have resulted from watching the episode.

3. "A Fistful of Reasons": I am tempted to cry when Buddy comes over to borrow Cindy's tongue twister book!

4. "Her Sister's Shadow": Jan writes an essay about Americanism and receives a 98--oops, 93!--score. Jan's honesty is tearjerking, especially when the teacher commends her in front of the entire school.

Brace Yourself gets my vote. I felt so bad for her!

I have to agree with Dilly here, those are some of my saddest Brady moments as well, because Jan's my favorite Brady girl.

The one that always gets me to mear tears is when she admits to not getting the score she did, therefore forfeiting the essay contest. Not THAT is sad!

Also, when she keeps failing at stuff ("I'm strictly a no-talent!"). Poor Jan, I just feel so sorry for her!
