Post Should anyone have stayed from season 1 Molly or Sue Ann

Hi I was just wondering if you guys thought it would be cool if Molly or Sue Ann Stayed on for the rest of the shows. I love Molly Ringwald. She has had an amazing movie career. I thoght Sue was great as well. I could have done without Nancy. It doesnt take talent to stand at a phone a few times. She was in the way. Also has anyone emailed Nick yet to tell them we want more Facts episodes. Later all

It wasn't Molly's choice to leave the Facts Of Life, in fact she could have stayed for a bit longer. She was cast in the film The Tempest, and she couldn't do a TV show and a movie at the same time. The amount of money she would recieve doing the Tempest was alot higher then the pay she would get on The Facts, so she chose that instead, and her career kept building, so they got rid of her. Julie Piekarski got married in 1986, so I just can't see a married woman playing a girl at a boarding school.

no, I always felt that the did a great job with the girls they kept. But then, that's because that's how we're used to it. Who know what would've happened if they kept SueAnn instead of Blair, or Cindy instead of Natalie, etc...

I actually liked Nancy a lot! She "stayed" on the show longer than most of the first season girls.

If "The Facts Of Life" were all about you, why weren't u ever on the show?

I didn't care for Nancy, Molly or Cindy. However, I loved SUE ANN and MR. BRADLEY was really cool too. Any one remember MISS MAHONEY from the first 4 episodes, she was great as well. I wouldve liked to see her stay on FOL increased.

Actually Molly was just plain fired along with the others. That's what Nancy McKeon said in her "Intimate Potrait" interview. There were too many girls. However I think if Head of the Class can have all those students, the produces could have found a way to let those girls still make occasional appearances at least till graduation and let Nancy and SueAnne go to Langley. Nancy would have been great for that.

My sister saw a biography thing on Molly Ringwald, and she said she wasn't fired. She started to get involved in a movie, and the producers "let her go" so she could concentrate on that.

Molly did get better in her movies, i she acted like what she portrayed and added he acting skills to "The Facts of Life" it would be good, but Molly's character was just so annoying singing those silly songs were just to crazy. If Molly were added I probably change her character, but I don't really know to what.
