Default Episode Edit question

I have the episode where it is revealed that Jackie was being beaten up by Fisher off of TBS. And in it, Roseanne starts of by saying "That son of a ..." and Jackie cut her off. But when putting on the closed captioning, it says she called him a son of a bitch. Did TBS cut that out, or did Jackie actually cut her off before she said "bitch." Let me know.

TBS cut it out. In the same episode when Roseanne says "We can get more boxes, Jackie. I will whore myself in every grocery store if that's what it takes."

The last time I saw it, TBS cut then entire line after "Jackie."

Too bad, it was hilarious

I remember hearing "Son of a B**** when it aired on N@N during the launch marathon. I also remember it airing that way on my local FOX station this summer.

Yeah I remember hearing the son of a ..... and the whoring herself in every store on Nick at Nite(the make-under marathon)

You would think that Nick would not say it because it is a day-time kid's network, but yet TBS doesn't.... weird.

Roseanne: "I can't believe that I wasted 25 years hating you for something as stupid as a wedding, when there's a real good reason to hate you. You're a bitch! "
Ronnie: "I'm a bitch? Hah! I bow to the queen of all bitches. "

What about the whore and Bastard lines from "IT'S A BOY?" Did Nick leave those in too?

This is just an opinion, but where I live TBS used to show Roseanne during the day when children could watch it and hear B*** and Whore, and N@N shows it late at night after prime time hours so maybe they feel that it doesnt need to be cut. Also isn't Nickelodeon the kids shows and N@N the classic tv shows? I understand they are the same thing but the kiddie shows stop around the prime time hours or in the midst of prime time.

I was watching it on Oxygen they both seemed to play the same episodes within a day apart, i was looking for the editing differences and I couldnt really find any differences. I noticed on one of my local channels also that they are on the same schedule and they showed an episode that either I missed on N@N or N@N skipped. (The one where Jackie is in the red dress w/ zippers on them and she helps sell a bike at Dans shop). Did N@N skip this? or any other episode?

I hate it when two stations play the same episodes only days apart. When Prime (in Canada) and TBS did this in the early summer, I stopped watch all together for a bit because I had seen some of the episodes 5 or more times. I love the show, but there's only so much you can see.

Needless to stay, I can close my eyes and visualize many scenes in my head. Sad?

The reason N@N hasn't edited or skipped episodes is because Roseanne airs at 11pm ET, kids(especially young ones) are in bed by then... N@N didn't want to chop up Roseanne, and that is why they air it late at night. I know for a fact if it aired earlier in the evening, it would be much more edited.

That's odd that TBS would cut out the B word but would play the lesbian kiss.
