Flawed episode of UM - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

During one of the late-'90's episodes of UM, there was a story claiming that the the federal government is working with ultra-sound(or something) as a weapon and one notable result was the crash of TWA Flight 800 off of Long Island Sound. Hello, doofus! The Long Island Sound is on the NORTH shore of Long Island. Flight 800 crashed off the coast of the ATLANTIC OCEAN. You've got to wonder about the so-called "Experts" they bring on this show.

You have to wonder about the experts they bring on every ep of every show like this. Look sometimes the evidence presented for the causes of strange events is very hokey. My late father, when watching this show with my mother, once said "Bonnie this show's really dumb, let's change it.'
In Search Of hosted by Leonard Nimoy was another tv dumbfest. And I don't care if anyone argues back it was enjoyable as a show. The evidence presented on ISO for mysteries was often limbbrained. And that's a fact!

Its a usual practice among "mystery journalists" to emphasize only "evidence" that support the existence of the mystery no matter what absurd or false it may look.

Common sense or simple facts that would give the mystery an unimpressive but real solution never find their way in this kind of shows, articles or press.

An example:

What got more attention of the media?:
"The Alien Video Autopsy" Show or the show that proved its was a fraud?
