Default Lucy Carter's maiden name?

I read somewhere that her maiden on this show was McGillicuddy as well. On TLS, her maiden name was first Taylor, but then she told John Wayne it was McGillicuddy...can anyone clear this up?

Lucy Carter's maiden name was McGillicuddy. You can hear it in a few episodes, including Lucy & the Professor.

Yes, there is. It is episode 118, from the fifth season, and originally aired January 29th, 1973. This is the episode where Lucie Arnaz does her brilliant version of "So Happy Together" with John Davidson. Lucy mistakes Kim's new professor boyfriend as a much older man, and tries to woo him herself to show Kim what a shark he is! Ring a bell?
Lucy also refers to her childhood in Jamestown several times through the series, including in "Someone's On the Ski-Lift With Dinah?"

No it doesn't ring a bell, because I've seen so little of this series. However, I thumb through The Lucy Book ALL the time, and the title "Lucy and the Professor" just doesn't sound familiar at all...I'll check the book and check back here...

Well, I stand corrected! I'm not sure how I could have missed that title - I'm ALWAYS reading that book...

BTW, the book does not give a favorable review of the episode

Maybe Mr. Hinkley was by Lucy Magillucuddy Carter's mom's 2nd husband making them half- siblings. Still, not the best episode and I'm glad they never used Mr. Hinkley again. Lucie deserved far better for a potential pilot show!
