Talking Mr Garrett's FOL trivia blast!

Hi there!

I am a big fan of tv trivia and FOL so let's play some FOL trivia! I would like to do this about once a week or so. Here's my first batch of questions and I hope they aren't too tough ^_-!!!

1) How many different Headmasters have run Eastland during the run of the show? (Remember, the entire 79-88 run.)

2) Which season did Beverly Ann adopt Andy?

3) When getting teased about supposedly going "all the way" who did the teasers say Natalie should room with?

4) What's Jo's full name?

5) Why did Blair have a major grudge against God? (Season 2)

6) Who was the killer in the slasher movie dream sequence and who was the last to bite the dust?

7) What piece of Edna's Edibles did Edna keep when the place became Over Our Heads?

8) What kind of a motercycle did Jo ride? (It was mentioned many times and it wasn't a Harley.)

9) What was the name of the imaginary girl in Natalie's abortion article?

10) Name every Diff'rent Strokes character that did a guest shot on FOL.

I hope those are easy enough for the beginners and tough enough for the die hards. I will give the answers later, good luck!

Mr Garrett!

Ok I think I can answer a some of these

1) How many different Headmasters have run Eastland during the run of the show? (Remember, the entire 79-88 run.)

Mr. Bradley, Mr. Harris, Mr. Parker, and Blair Warner so there were 4 headmasters

2) Which season did Beverly Ann adopt Andy? Season # 8 (boy about the house)

3) When getting teased about supposedly going "all the way" who did the teasers say Natalie should room with? Homer and Helen

4) What's Jo's full name?
Joanna Marie Polnichez (sorry spelled wrong)

5) Why did Blair have a major grudge against God? She was upset because she prayed to God and asked him for her parents not to get a divorce, but they did.

6) Who was the killer in the slasher movie dream sequence and who was the last to bite the dust? the killer was Blair and Tootie was the last one to get killed

7) What piece of Edna's Edibles did Edna keep when the place became Over Our Heads? the Edna's Ediable sign

8) What kind of a motercycle did Jo ride? (It was
mentioned many times and it wasn't a Harley.) Kowasaki (spelled wrong)

10) Name every Diff'rent Strokes character that did a
guest shot on FOL.
Mr. Drummond, Kimberly Drummond, Arnold Jackson, and Willis Jackson

Well I guess I did pretty good.

Way to catch Blair as number 4. (Trick question!)

2)Sorry I deleted your answer but it was right. (Pretty easy one there!)

3)You were close, it was Home Run Helen. (Who Nat talks to about nasty rumours later in the show.)

4)Joanna Marie Polnichez (sorry spelled wrong) Jo-Anna Marie Polniczek. Either way you got it.

5) Why did Blair have a major grudge against God? She was upset because she prayed to God and asked him for her parents not to get a divorce, but they did.
That's right again, there is another trivia question out of that one but I will save it for later!

6) Who was the killer in the slasher movie dream sequence and who was the last to bite the dust? the killer was Blair and Tootie was the last one to get killed
You were so close! Blair was the killer but it was JO who was last to go down! Tootie was cornered and wolk up screaming therefore she never actually got killed in this dream sequence!

7) What piece of Edna's Edibles did Edna keep when the place became Over Our Heads? the Edna's Ediable sign.
Right again! That one was the one I thought was the easiest!

8) What kind of a motercycle did Jo ride? (It was mentioned many times and it wasn't a Harley.) Kowasaki (spelled wrong)
Actually it was spelled right!

10) Name every Diff'rent Strokes character that did a guest shot on FOL.
Mr. Drummond, Kimberly Drummond, Arnold Jackson, and Willis Jackson.
everyone but Sam and the other maids would have been correct also!

Well I guess I did pretty good.
[/B]
Actually you scored 7 1/2 out of 9! Very good! Does anyone else have any FOL trivia? This is fun!

ok, it was season 9, czu boy about the house was one of the first episodes in one of the seasons (either 8 or 9) and it can't be 8 cuz that's when mrs. g leaves and then after that is ready or not so it's not season 8, so it would have to be season 9...

and it wasn't homer and helen her name was homerun helen.. it's one girl, they called her homerun helen i'm assuming becuase she has already had sex (or going by bases, she's been all te way home)

and to the person who made up this trivia (mr. garrett) NaN hasn't aired the episode The Source and USA never aired it either, so over half of the FOL fan population hasn't even seen it.. so that's not a good trivia question to include.. i belive it was number 9

I forgot, Natalie's abortion article is the last open question. Anyone want to take a stab at it?

I recall the abortion article being rerun on CBC regularly with their FOL reruns for nearly a decade. (They showed reruns from 1984-about 1992.) I didn't know it hasn't been aired in America for so long. Sorry about that one.

The answer to number 9 was Tottie's imaginary friend from her childhood named Louise. It turned out to be the name of an actual Eastland girl who actually had an abortion. This was a weird and classic episode that NaN is probably saving for ratings!

Let's have a trivia shootaround to see what everyone else can come up with!

On the headmaster question: there was also the headmaster that was there in the last two episodes who quit so Blair had to take over as headmistress. I forget his name. I'll have to check my tapes to find out.

2. It was pesticides wasn't it?

3. Turkey jerky and a beet!
