Hello All,
New member here and wanted to say "Hi" ,straight away, after watching first episode tonight of Season 4 in the UK. While watching a thought occurred to me. Is W&G getting more and more anti-europe and anti-british? THere has been loads of comments in the past about "you should never do a british accent" and lots of faces pulled when Brits are mentioned and the tonight it was all about how Will's jeans looked weird and feminine because they were from France. Am I missing something? Did one of the writers have an 'incident' with someone European and it has tainted their entire outlook? ANy thoughts - strange first post I know but just watching it tonight thinking "Why do I bother" and why, if it is not Euro-friendly, why on earth is it sold to the UK???? |

lol, I think it's cute. It's just the same as any American when they and do an "English" accent. It comes out all posh. As if we all talk like that!

We've confused many people on the set because there is not one part of my body that Sean has not touched, nor me his. And I can't explain it-it's just our way of relating. I mean, if we were presented to the queen of England, I'd probably be grabbing his package." |

I very much doubt they are anti Europe. They are just jokes, I'm sure European shows have had American jokes.

Alot of American sitcoms make fun when an American character is trying to do a british accent because most Americans can't do a british accent unless it is posh.
The jeans, I haven't seen the episode for a while but I do believe they made fun of him because they were womens jeans that he was trying to pass off as mens, they just happened to be bought in France cause at the end of season 3 Will went overseas and Grace stayed in NY with Leo. |
