Arrow Meet Your Meat

I didn't really want to post this, but after reading Tim's thread on KFC, I think most of you guys will be willing to see this. Although, in no way do I associate myself with PeTA's wild tactics, I believe they are trying to send a good message with this PSA.

In that same thread Sarah made a comment about how some farmers raise their cattle/chicken and sell them to companies. If every company had such a relationship, everything would of been perfect. But the truth is... that HARDLY ever happens. Most companies like McDonalds, Farmer Johns, KFC, and especially Burger King treat their animals in every INHUMANE ways. Yes... they are going to end up dying, but these animals are put through soooo much hardship, and terrible conditions.

I warn you, if you are easily disgusted or offended please don't watch the video. But if you willing to see what these poor animals go through, be brave and watch. For some of you, this video will have such an impact that will cause you to stop eating meat from this day on.

http://www.petatv.com/tvpopup/video.asp?video=mym2002

Please post your opinion about this after watching.

Thank you.

That PSA is really depressing and those animals are treated horrible. It's so depressing to see animals that are so heavy that their legs can't support them, and that animals are put into scalding tanks while still alive.

I only watched the first part, but it is really sad that that kind of stuff is still legal.

I'm not a vegetarian, and I never will be, but that stuff can really get to ya.

BTW: I find it hard to believe ANYTHING Alec Baldwin has to say!

Later.

I was a vegetarian for 2 years. Then last year I had KFC and I got addicted to it. I still don't eat ANY red meat e.g. steak etc.... I also don't eat veal. I eat hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken.

I love chicken, pork and veal. I'm not crazy about hamburgers or hot dogs.

Read the book "Fast Food Nation." You'll never eat at a McDonalds again.

I can't read this thread, but I know what it's about.
I had a vegetarian friend who once told me that she doesn't eat anything that had parents.

I hate all fast-food burger places. Me and my friends were once at Wendy's a few years back. We ordered food to go, and when we got to my house, there was this weird, white dust over the burger and it wasn't even fully cooked. It was disgusting. Granted, Wendy's is probably the best place out of all burger places since they've added the pita menu, but I'll never eat a burger from there again.

I got food poisoning from a Wendy's burger once. I was never so sick in my life.
I hate fast food now.
