I am still recovering from Halloween! LOL! I made myself a poodle skirt and spent my day at work dressed as a 50's chick--then, after work, rushed around, got the kids in their costumes and took them trick or treating. (still in my 50's get-up) Then, took them to the local YMCA for their Halloween party for games, stories, treats, and a Halloween costume contest.
My hubby stayed home and gave out candy to the trick or treaters.
About 9:00pm, we had a group of church kids that came by on a scavenger hunt, and, (lucky them), we were able to give them just what they needed!
Then, a movie and popcorn for the kids, and off to bed! (I'm surprised they were able to go to sleep, with all that sugar in their systems!)

As Freddie would say Karen Looking Good..............

I'm exhausted myself giving these kids candy and walking around trick or treating with a bunch of kids. Whew........ Glad it's over.

Neat pic of your 50's outfit! NWe didin't have any scary plans. Wed we went up to Alexandria to see Arlo Guthrie do 2 nites worth of shows at a club up there. Oh we had such a nice time! On the way way back home we stopped off at the POTOMAC MILLS outlet mall in Woodbridge/Dale City, VA & the mall in Fredricksburg, VA. It was nice spending time with Arlo & some of his friends who we've gotten to know thru the shows & see some nice shows & have fun. We will be going to see him in a coupla weeks for 2 days up in Staunton & Roanoke, VA. I can't wait! Sadly after those 2 shows are over, I have no idea when I will see him again as he has no other shows booked for anywhere near VA in the future...

Parties for the kids at school..... OMG that is scary enough, but my philosophy is, show em a movie, have the homeroom moms load them up with sugar and SEND THEM HOME! LOL

I also had a folk choir party last night at my house. That was fun.

I went dressed as the night sky.... I have a tee shirt with all the constellations on it... it even glows in the dark! LOL
