Default What would you do?

I have recorded some tv shows on tape. I accidently recorded over, a tiny part of an ep. while trying to record another show. Has anyone ever done that? If so what do you do? Do you keep the ep. of the show you recorded a little over, untill it airs again? Hope this is understandable.

Thanks!

I apologize I did'nt know. Why are my posts getting taken off? Did I post them at the incorrect boards? I posted here about contacting the owners of a show, and at the General Sitcoms board. I hope that's all it is, and I'm sorry and if you'll please let me know, I'll really appreciate it.

Here's a trick; take the tape out of the VCR, flip up that little rectangular plastic piece covering the tape and pull about three feet of tape out of the cartridge. Next, get a spoon out of the silverware draw and put it in the freezer for about two hours. After two hours, remove the spoon and place it on your temple. It won't help retrieve the tape any but it might make you think the next time you record over unwatched tapes.

Oh I hate taping over stuff too... that's why I use the erase tab. Most tapes I tape on 3 or 4 times though, so if you do decide to record on the tape again, just put some that will stick over the entire hole where the erase tab was and bingo!
