Showcase Showdown spinning order on TPIR - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

On The Price is Right, there is still something that I am not completely sure if and I hope someone can answer this for me. During the showcase showdown, the three contestants spin the big wheel in order of how much each person won. The person who won the most spins last, while the person who wins the least spins first. But I am still not sure of what exactly constitutes the "biggest winner". To illustrate by example:

Contestant 'A' wins a $1500 prize on contestants row, and then loses an 'all or nothing' prize.
Contestant 'B' wins a $500 prize on contestants row, and then wins the $750 secondary prize on the game 'Any Number'.

So even though contestant B is at least a partial winner while contestant A is not a winner, overall with a $1500 prize, contestant A is still a bigger winner over the $1250 won by contestant B. So during the showcase showdown, who would be spinning first, contestant A or B?

Also, are prizes such as the $500 correct bid taken into consideration?

Is the top winner in the showcase also determined in a similar fashion?

To answer your question; if contestant A won $1,500 and contestant B won $1,250 and contestant C won $1,000, then the $1,500 winner would be spinning last. The item up for bid and the $500 bonus for a perfect bid are taken into consideration. It's the same for the top winner in the showcase.

All that has been changed since 1975.
