Anthony Carter hit a layup with 28.4 seconds left in regulation to lift the Spurs to a season-opening 83-82 victory over the Suns on Tuesday. Tim Duncan fired in 24 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked six shots for San Antonio, which led for just 46 seconds the entire game...
and The San Antonio Spurs receive their 2002-03 NBA Championship rings prior to Tuesday's game vs. the Phoenix Suns

but they play a boring and dull game. If Duncan became more animated then it might help people like this dull team. Parker is dull.....Bowen is dull.....duncan is dull. i mean you can watch a game..fall asleep..wake up and you didn't miss much but the score changing. NO drama or anything. No interest.

LOL@Jekouptown hahahahahahahahahahahaha. You're right, the Spurs are kinda boring this season. David Robinson was at the game last night with his son. I can't believe Amare Stoudemire fouled out & only scored 10 points. Stephon Marbury needs to get the other players involved more. He shoots too much for a point guard. Robert Horry looks different in a Spurs uniform. I thought he would finish his career with the Lakers.

I see the Spurs lost to Denver last night 80-72 LOL. Marcus Camby had 20 rebounds.

The fact that you say their boring well that's just your opinion. You can hate on them all you want but the fact is they are still a great team. They are just off to a slow start.

![]() Rose doubled up in Tim Duncan's absence. D. Clarke Evans Spurs Press On Without Duncan Starting in place of injured Tim Duncan, Malik Rose scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Spurs to an 80-73 win over Miami on Tuesday. Manu Ginobili tallied 15 points and Rasho Nesterovic added 14 WOOHOO we are missing Duncan, Parker, & Horry and we still won.
