All the smoke from the fires makes it appear much darker there than it already is.

Anyway, to finish my cockroach story, i freak out and scream, run in the house, and slam the door (probably knocking the roach off in the process--which was my goal-- because when my mom opened the door, the roach was on the step

Anyway, I screamed, raised a ruckus, and my mom came and was like "What's wrong?" I told her there was a roach on the door, and she killed it

I HATE BUGS
