Default No Doubt- "It's My Life" video

Here it is, "It's My Life" , Right Click- Save Target As...

Maybe I'm over analyzing, but it seems like the band is trying to do the concept of Gwen going solo. She's "killing" off her bandmates, and telling the world, "I'm a one-person act." That's why we see her with her bandmates in the beginning, but she ends up by herself in the end.

It's a really good video.

I don't think Heather would appreciate direct linking of the video[edit: its probably disabled now anyways].

and yes you are over analyzing. they're not trying to show the fact of her doing a solo album. They're all doing solo work. they've done it before. Its called something different than the other 15 videos they've done over the past 16 years. It was all the directors idea since Gwen just got done with the Aviator.

and she doesnt end up by herself in the end. shes killed and they're all still alive/ or they're getting their revenge by watching her get killed from "the great beyond".

^

but anyways i like the video. one of their best so far. Glad they didn't use Sophie M. again.

Default yeah

Talk Talk's version of "It's My Life" is the only good version. No Doubt sucks her voice isn't that great and it ruins the song. They are highly overrated.

Well the orginal sucked to begin with, so i cant argue. I do like it better than the orginal, though. I don't see how Gwens voice ruins the song, or how the rest of the band would. They pretty much made an exact replica of it. They didn't rework anything.

I wasn't over analyzing after all, I was right. I was watching "No Doubt, The Videos..." and they talked about the fact that David LaChappelle was playing off the rumors of No Doubt breaking up, and of course Gwen Stefani's solo album... thus the concept of killing off the guys.

Poking fun of rumors and "I'm a one-person act." are two different things. His idea was to kill them off since thats what the media has been trying to do for years, "the rumors". Gwen was the one that had said she thinks it was a cool concept since everyone is always asking her if and when shes going to ditch the band.

and she didn't end up alone in the end. they were all killed. it was supposed to be they all go out together.
