Monty Python & Around the World in 80 Days
Have you ever noticed that three of the troupe members from Monty Python have a link to Jules Verne's "Around the World in 80 Days"???
1. Michael Palin did his first travel series doing the real thing. The catch?? No technology and/or aviation like airplanes. [I]2. Eric Idle played Jean Passepartout to Pierce Brosnan in the NBC mini-series remake in 1989. Pierce was Phileas Fogg. 3. John Cleese will cameo(don't know his role) in the Jackie Chan(Passepartout) movie due in 2004?? |
