It should have been the Cubs.. but you have to tip your hat and congratulate the Marlins. They were a team nobody expected to get that far or even make the playoffs earlier in the season.

The Marlins kind of remind me of the 87 redskins and 99 ravens, they were on a winning streak toward end of the season and it just continued through the playoffs

I had to root against the Marlins when they played the Giants. Then I had to root against them when they played the Cubs. Then, finally, I got to root for them to beat the Yankees! They put on quite a show! Congratulations to the Marlins!
