What's the point of N@N showing only certain tag scenes and not - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

the other tag scenes? That's a little confusing to me because if they can show some of them why not ALL?

Well that's the case for all eps so that's why I wondered why N@N chooses certain tag scenes and not all.

Perhaps it has to do with the length of the tag scene and whether or not earlier scenes could be 'sacrificed' without disrupting the flow of the story.

We can all agree that if the tag scene is shown, then an earlier scene must be cut out. Perhaps for some episodes, Nick-at-Nite felt that cutting out a scene will disrupt the main storyline, while others will not.

In "Jack Goes the Distance", Nick-at-Nite left in the tag scene in which Jack wears fake glasses as a mask before going out to the Regal Beagle, so Nick-at-Nite cut out the scene involving the girls getting up and Jack outside training the night before the fight. Cutting out that scene did not really affect the flow of the story.

I wouldn't mind if Nick-at-Nite cuts off a commercial or two in order to show everything (tag scene and other cut parts) in their entirety.
