Talking The old Ed is BACK!!!!!!

Hello, Ed fans!

I am SO excited! This week's episode was so great. It seems like the "old Ed" is back! Yay!!!

I loved the case. It was such a great theme. FINALLY, they brought back the old stuff that makes Ed great! Did you notice that Carol and Ed had only one scene as a "couple"? This is beautiful!

I really liked the whole "guardian" thing with Mike and Nancy! When Warren told Carol he got somebody pregnant, I flipped! (That could never happen to Warren! ) It was so funny how Mike and Nancy tricked the three of them!

What do you guys think?

Later.

~ Lauren

BTW: Did they have a new writer for the past few weeks? This episode seemed so different!

I'm glad you liked it. I haven't seen it yet. I'll watch it tomorrow and then let you know how I liked it.

I liked the court scenes but the scenes where Mike and Nancy are looking for guardians for the kid in case something happens to them were pretty stupid. If someone messed up my office the way they did to Molly, I would be bullschmit.

I couldn't agree with you more. This week's episode was one of the best in a long time. A perfect mix of humor and character that made the first season fun.

I laughed outloud when Phil started the "21 ball salute."

If they lay off the Ed/Carol melodrama and stick to what they did this week, Ed will be back to its old form.

I agree with you. It was the best show of the season. I also liked the fact that Ed and Carol didn't have many scenes together. I liked Phil's storyline and the court case. I liked the Mike and Nancy story( lately they have been the best thing on Ed). Unfortunately it looks like we're going back to the Ed and Carol story next week.

FOr some stupid reason, NBC is trying to make this show look like a drama.
Would it kill them to play up the comedic aspects of the show in the promos?

I know what you mean! I like Ed WAY better when it's just fun. One of the things I like best about the show is the fact that you can turn it on at any point in the episode and figure out what's going on. That's rare these days! Unlike The West Wing and CSI, it's a RELAXING way to end the day!

I also liked Phil's part in this one A LOT. That's probably my favorite Phil story ever! The "21 Ball Salute" was classic!

Later.
