Question Is it just me, or did MTV just turn into crap?

MTV totally sux now IMO! Nothing like it use to be.
But like they say "all good things must come to an end."

Uhh boy- don't get me started. Someone else brought up MTV a few weeks back & that's always enough to get me started...

MTV lost it's touch when they played less music and aired more blah blah blah. Your right Mrs. R.N...that was about 92.

Holy Toledo. Thinking about how much MTV sucks puts me into fits. But I will say, I still watch it tons. I guess I hate how MTV has transformed, yet I still like some of the crap that's on there. The channel isn't even MTV anymore. I deep down probably pretend I am watching a different network to get me through the anger I have over MTV's downfall, lol. Um, I pretty much hate new music now anyways, so it's not like I want MTV playing music like they used to. I liked MTV until about 96, but it did start nose diving earlier. VH1 Classics is my savoir.

I'm loyal to MTV - last year it was one of my 2 English-speaking channels (the other one was International CNN)

Yes, MTV does suck.....but then again a lot of things related to popular music are beginning to suck nowadays....

I think MTV is the worst station on tv today. All they ever seem to play is hip hop songs that sound, and look exactly the same as each other. Watching MTV to me is like listening to the same song over and over again. There's just no variety anymore.

Long live VH1. At least when they don't play music, their shows are good.
