Default LS DVD said episode was from 1970, wasn't that the time Here's Lucy was on?

The back of a dvd of The Lucy Show said that an episode on it was from 1970, wasn't that when Here's Lucy on, or am I incorrect?

Thanks,

Patrick

P.S.

If it was during that time, (I didn't watch the dvd) did they just get a here's lucy episode and add a lucy show opening or is the date wrong or am i wrong and the lucy show was on during 1970?

Thanks again.

I don't know about the DVD but Here's Lucy ran from 1968-1974.

I will might know this answer. But first . . . answer this question please: did the episode guest-star Art Linkletter or any other celebrities?

Yeah I knew it was that one, but I haven't been able to see the back of the dvd box since I discovered that there was an episode listed on it that had a date by the name of the episode and this date was one of the years that Here's Lucy was on.

Well today, I bought some TLS DVDs. On the back it says Broadcast History: 1962-1974. So obviously the company does not know much about the Lucy Show.

EXACTLY! The Lucy show ran for six years, from '62 to '68 and then Here's Lucy from 68 to 74, two totally different shows, that's what happens when people who work on these things don't even know the material they're working on!

There was a dvd of the Lucy Show I bought and they said lucy was born in another place than where she really was (I forget where they said she was born)

They also spelled Arnaz wrong: I believe they spelled it: Arnez.

They do that all the time on E Bay, it's so annoying, wasn't he famous enough for them to get his name right? Lucy's birthplace is sometimes given as Celoron which is a suburb of Jamestown, is that where they said?

Yes that's it. I saw this in a dvd of the Lucy Show where they had a Biography of Lucy as part of the dvd.

Also, they just about always just talk about I Love Lucy, like that's the show that's on the dvd. I've seen a dvd of the Lucy Show where some of the artwork on the dvd is from I Love Lucy. It's like they think the dvd is for I Love Lucy.

On one or two dvds of The Lucy Show, there were biographies of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz!
