I heard this morning that Fred Berry (Re-Run from "What's Happening") died yesterday at the age of 52.
I was very sorry to hear this news. His, was another show that was popular during the CATM years. ![]() Thank-you Mr. Berry for many years of your beautiful smile, joyous laugh and terrific dancing. |

Oh WOW
He was just featured on the VH1 "I Love the 70's" show last month. He will be missed. I always liked that show too.

Also Art Carney who played Ed Norton of the Htoneymooners died. So sad to lose another older star. I watched the Honeymooners as a kid. Back when CATM was on TVLAND at midnite & 8 am, the Honeymooners came on at 12:30 am right after CATM & that was my hour to just stop & relax & watch tv. I later wound up watching CATM at 8:30 am too cuz I just couldn't get enough of Freddie...

Two good friends are together again. Art Carney and Jackie Gleason. It will be a joyous reunion in heaven, but a sad day for Mr. Carney's family and friends.
