Default Nick-at-Nite Cut Versions

Since TC has been airing on Nick-at-Nite so much since October 2000, I have been watching and recording episodes from the channel. However, I am well-aware of their cutting parts from the episodes. Before Nick-at-Nite's airings, I only vividly remember a couple of episodes and what was cut from those few. These include:

1. "It's Only Money" - When Jack is talking with Dean Travers for the loan, the dean says something like, "Why don't you leave the door unlocked so burglars won't come in because they think it's a trap." Then he laughs hysterically. It's funny!

2. "Up in the Air" the second half of Jack's dancing scene. I was lucky to have taped this one on TBS, but it's in low sound quality. Comparing the missing part, it's missing a whole two minutes of the hysterical dancing scene.

3. "The Odd Couple" where Larry takes Janet into Jack's bedroom, slaps him, and Larry says "Oooo-lala." Then they walk back into the room, and Terri says, "I think (s)he has a headache. Plus, another mini scene I vividly remember that's not on at N@N is when Terri is introducing Janet as a foreign houseguest. Terri says, "And this is... uh... uh..." and Jack jumps in and says, "Fifi." The part that's missing is when Janet says "Fifi?" Then, Jack says, "Yeah... uh, Fifi Fofum" and laughs. That part is missing.

I can't--for the life of me-- remember what other things are missing in other episodes. Does anyone else remember? Please do post them!!

Default Missing tag scenes

Swedeace:

I've listed the following information on other threads before, but since you asked about missing scenes, I'll list them here again.

I really detest all those cut scenes on Nick at Nite or on any other past station rerun. I've noticed that on reruns, the show often ends without the actual final tag scene being televised. And sometimes Nick at Nite does televise the tag scene, but at the same time it will delete a prior scene in the episode. For those of you who don't know, below are just seven samples of all the omitted final tag scenes:

Downhill Chaser #0505
Televised last scene: Jack fainting after the girl says she will ski down the difficult hill in the morning.
Omitted tag scene: Mr. Furley explaining to Jack how the fat lady finally caught him.

Double Trouble #0519
Televised last scene: Mr. Furley walking out drunk.
Omitted tag scene: Jack telling the girls that it was Austin who pulled a prank in the bathroom.

Dying To Meet You #0522
Televised last scene: Jack getting trapped in the coffin and sneezing his way out.
Omitted tag scene: Jack requesting to sleep with the girls.

Eyewitness Blues #0605
Televised last scene: Both the detective and the robber knocked out.
Omitted tag scene: The cast watching a TV news broadcast about the incident.

The Money Machine #0804
Televised last scene: Five men trying to explain to Terri what's going on.
Omitted tag scene: Mr. Furley saying how he found more than $1000 in the couch.

The Charming Stranger #0811
Televised last scene: Leslie and then Mr. Furley leaving the apartment after finding out about Pamela.
Omitted tag scene: The trio reading a good-bye letter from Leslie

Jack Takes Off #0818
Televised last scene: Jack walking off with Larry's date.
Omitted tag scene: Mr. Furley showing the trio his drawing of Jack.

In the episode "The Escort" Janet and Chrissy are depressed that no guys called them on the phone for a date. Janet convinces Chrissy that they should go out anyway. Janet heads to bedroom to change. Chirssy is on her way to bedroom too, but on her way she goes to the phone, picks up the receiver and blows a raspberry in to it.(Bronx Cheer or Archie Bunker's favorite noise) In the Nick at Nite version, Chrissy's raspberry is not shown.

I remember Nick-at-Nite airing that tag when they aired "The Charming Stranger" in 2001. I'm not sure if it was edited out or not when it aired on TNN, though.

Grade4:
I have a great memory.

Sean:
Yes, you're right. Nick-at-Nite did a good job of keeping this in on The Charming Strangers. Unfortunately, other network reruns often cut this part out.

I haven't watched "Two Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" in a while (even if I have recorded it months ago with commercials present), and just the other day, I recorded it without commercials off Nick-at-Nite, and I noticed one small scene that was cut. Right after Janet tells Jack to take the spider out, Jack is making some sort of comment towards the spider about its many legs. Something like, "Up you go... I'm glad this isn't a centipede with many legs." Or something like that. I am forgetting. Does anyone have the TBS version who can verify and quote Jack verbatim, please? Thanks ahead of time!

I remember this one vividly because I used to watch this very episode appear so many times on TBS a few years ago when it was airing, but I didn't get to record it.

The last time I saw Jack's Bad Boy (several months ago since it's on too late now) they cut out the part where Billy gives Chrissy his "home" phone number. She reaches a party who doesn't know who Billy is and hangs up. Billy says something like, "See, they don't care", and the girls say "Awwww".

If this is true about Terri makes her move:

TV version:Janet and Terri strip Larry of his robe and towel then Jack closes the door so Larry can't come in

Uncut version:Terri is playing her violin, and Jack and Janet want her to stop so Jack asks Terri to come out into the living room.Jack sees Terri in her nighty and spills his drink on Janet then telling Terri to play it out here. Then Janet attacks Jack
