I rented 28 days I am going to pop it in the vcr and wacth it, I was going to see Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but I thin k I will wait untill it comes out in vcr and dvd. Not to long to wait I hope , it is way to ixpensive to go to the movies anymore. Eevn the early showing, I called and the movie house wanted five bucks $7.50 for later showing, any ways wacthing at home is more peacefull.

I can remember when the matinee was $2.50, now the early show is $6.50 and I think the evening is $8.00. Geezz! But I only go to a view movies a year, because it's nice to get out and see a movie on the BIG screen.

I worked in a movie theater last summer - don't blame it on the theaters people - it's insanely expensive for them to pay for the films they show. At my theater it was 3.50 for matinees, 4.50 for students and 5.00 for adults (I think they've since raised prices though) and the theater made NO money on ticket sales at all - all of it goes to pay for the films. all of their profits come from concessions.

Okay I dont know how right I am but....

$3.50- First show of the day.
$4.50- Afternoons
$6.50- Night

But the one at the mall is only $1.50. That theater shows movies that have just left the regular theaters though.

$6 during the day, $8.25 after 6.

I think we can all agree that the theatre in Ft Lauderdale is the worst... okay, my aunt went there once. She says it's HUGE and has like 30 DIFFERENT movies playing and all these restaurants.... $18 per ticket. That doesn't even include the restaurants. $18 JUST FOR THE MOVIE!!!

Last time I went to theaters was in 2000, when it was $5.50 for an adult ticket...This is ND, where it's 99 cents for a king-sized bar...Pretty expensive. :-/

$9.50 We barley go to movies anymore because of how much they charge. The good theatre we usually go to is almost $10. For $3 more you can wait a few months and go buy the dvd.

It's ten bucks to see a flick in NYC.

When we screw people, we screw them big time!!!

That probably explains why the food there is so expensive.

I'm estimating that for an adult ticket at the closest theater to my house it's about $8.50.
