Default Happy Mole Day!!

((Not mole like the rodent or mole like the thing on Cindy crawford's face....its the science thing))

Is anyone else celebrating Mole Day tomorrow in their science-ish classes? My chemistry class is having a party....We get extra credit if we have food with mole-ish names. Like I'm bringing Cinnamon Moles.

Yah my school's screwed up.

My old high school always made a real big deal out of mole day. If students have chemistry class they would have to make a stuffed mole. Then they would name a mole king and queen. And you could order mole day shirts. I still have mine, but I've never worn it since high school.

OMG that's hilarious. I know the Prep Chem class is doing stuffed moles, but we aren't cuz apparently "its not an honors type activity."

No, my science teacher was telling us about that. I thought she said "Mold Day" though.....I only realized it was 'Mole' until I saw a sign up on the wall at school.

I have "that mole thing" on my face too.

Nope, I never took Chemistry when I was in HS so we never did that- the school I went to offered Chemistry as a junior or senior year science class. Physical science was a freshman class and biology a sophomore class. After that, you aren't required to take any more science classes, but a lot of kids opt to continue science for a 3rd year. I did take Applied Biology/Chemistry (ABC) class my junior year and it was a TON of fun!! No textbooks needed and we never had any homework. Now THAT'S what a science class should be like.
