I love Cheers, but I like Wings better. Both are great shows with lovable characters and good writing and plots, but Wings just seems to have a little something extra.

Cheers is ok, but if I watch it every night for a week in a row, I get bored of it.
I haven't gotten bored of Wings yet! Wings definately has and extra something special |

"Cheers" is an EXTREMELY well-written and well-acted sitcom...in fact, as far as witty comedy banter goes, one could even argue that "Cheers" is BETTER WRITTEN than "Wings" (now don't get mad at me, gang...but someone COULD really argue that if they wanted to!).... However, I just don't find myself CARING about the "Cheers" characters the way that I care about the "Wings" gang...the "Wings" characters just seem more HUMAN to me! |

I like Wings better, but Cheers is special for me cos my parents used to watch it at night when I was little, and I'd go to sleep hearing (to me) the comforting sounds of the theme song, and some of the show playing too. I like Carla. She's whipsmart!

Same here, I can't stand Diane. I prefer the Rebecca years.

Yes, Diane is grating on the nerves. Carla and Norm were the cool ones IMO. But Wings is much more entertaining. Has a better atmosphere in that airport too. I just plain like the sets, characters, and stories better on Wings.

Cheers is a place you wouldn't mind dropping in for a couple of brews every so often, but lunch at the counter every day at Tom Nevers Field would be better, so Yes I like Wings better.

I would rather belly up to the bar at Cheers than have a stopover at wings
