Alan Alda In Medical Emergency!
From the IMDB:
"M*A*S*H" star Alan Alda has been rushed into hospital in Chile for an emergency appendectomy. The veteran star went into surgery on Sunday after doctors decided an immediate operation was the best course of action. A official at the Regional Hospital, La Serena, near Santiago said the "Manhattan Murder Mystery" star was recovering well and had been working on a TV documentary in the country prior to his admittance. Alda is expected to leave the hospital later today. Get well Captain Pierce.

I hope he gets better. When I think of Alan I think of that good movie where he had broken up with his wife. I think Ann Margret was in the movie.

According to an E! Online article, Alan is back in New York and is doing great after he got out of the hospital in Chile last Friday.
