Today's UM profiled a low-tech bombing using a hijacked cab driver to rob a bank, all the while, the cabbie had a bomb wired around his neck.
It sounds a little like this case: http://stacks.msnbc.com/news/959687.asp?0cl=cr&cp1=1 Of course, the two cases are about as far apart as they could be but it's still pretty interesting. Or maybe I'm imagining things |

Hey! Prime showed that case just last night! I hadn't seen it since 1996.
Here's the sketch of the bomber. The recent bombing in Erie, PA, which was on America's Most Wanted a few times recently, came to mind when I watched this case again. Lots of respect goes to the cabby who remained calm and took the second bomb with him out of the bank. I still hope they catch those responsible for both. |
