Talking Happy At Last

1. My site was just updated. more later tomorrow.

2. Reading about how happy everyone is (even CERTAIN people) at finally getting their DVD on DVD, I guess all I can say is that regardless of money, ethics, William Morris Agents and their lawyers, and anyone else who has the guts to call this project their own, I can honestly say that I am sitting here in my apartment in New York City SMILING BIG SMILES because I know in my heart (and so does EVERYONE ELSE) that this whole bloody thing...and all of your happiness....was because of something I did. Something I started. and that's a great feeling. And nobody can take that away from me.

Actually, to be really truthful - your TRUE happiness isn't due to me at all. Unlike some, I have no problem giving credit where credit is due. Because I sleep very well at night.

Your happiness is due to some other VERY brilliant people:

Carl Reiner
Sheldon Leonard
Danny Thomas
Mr. Dick Van Dyke
Mary Tyler Moore
Rose Marie
Morey Amsterdam
Larry Mathews
Ann Morgan Guilbert
Jerry Paris
Frank Adamo
Jerry Van Dyke

ALL the guest stars.....

and of course:

A FEW BRILLIANT WRITERS
Carl Reiner
Bill Persky & Sam Denoff
Bill Idelson
Rick Mittleman
David Adler
Walter Kempley

Thank you, Doug! I'll take that as a compliment and hope that you enjoyed that big virtual hug! If I ever meet you in person, I would love to shake your hand!

Hey, can I get in on the hug fest too?

I echo Lolac's appreciation for what you've done to make this a reality, Doug! Despite what others may think, you're the tops in my book.

Hey Doug, did you ever get to add anything to the DVD project, such as the pictures I talked to you about? Just wondering what happened with all that.

Cool Thanks to Doug!!

I just found this message board and just received my Season 1/2 sets yesterday and want to send a HUGE Thank You to Doug and everyone else who was involved in finally getting DVD on DVD!! I have quite a few tv shows on DVD, but I've never been more excited than I am right now!! I've only watched the first four episodes so far but this is THE classic tv show on DVD presentation to beat! The packaging, picture quality, and extra features are just wonderful! I will never stop watching these! Thanks to all involved and I can't wait for Seasons 3-5!!
