I'm loving these first season episodes some I haven't seen in years and some I haven't seen at all. I love how naieve Jeannie is and how funny she is trying to learn about modern culture. She also seems much sweeter in these episodes. I thought the show was much better before Tony & Jeannie got married.

Uh uh. Despite a few jokes in each ep these first season eps are rather serious and dark in feeling. It's better by the second season when the regular actors have all figured out their characters.

I think that the first season eps have improved from the time Roger found out about Jeannie. To me, the eps seemed a bit more "serious" before that.
I especially like the ep where they went to Reno (it's also the ep in which they were promoted from Captain to Major....); I also like "Bigger than a Breadbox...Better than a Genie" (well, the title was something like that). I think those particular eps were more fun-filled. |
