Default Song that tells exactly how you feel right now....

Okay....name a song that describes how you feel right now, or at this point in life.

Today, mine is...."Damn You Damn Everyone" by the Foo Fighters. It fits my situation with this guy so perfectly it's kinda scary. But I just ran across it and thought I would start a topic to see if anyone else associates their lives with songs like I do.

Try Runnin around the candle
I was only running into you
Try Runnin around the candle
I don't try to run it into you

I get tired of runnin into you

Damn you damn everyone
I'll be fine without you
Damn you damn everyone
I'll be fine without you

I'm still tired of runnin into you

Try one that's with you
Tear my damn heart in two
I won't battle? at you
Running into it! Running into it!

Youth is like diamonds in the sun,
And diamonds are forever.

Forever young, I want to be forever young.
Do you really want to live forever?

That's a song I'll have to go looking for.. I'm tired of being nice to certain people, and then getting crapped on. Been feeling that way for a few weeks now.

It's an unreleased song, I do believe. I just stumbled across the lyrics while looking over some stuff. Pretty appropriate songs for a bunch of things.

I think your song suits what you're going through very well right now. Maybe mine could be "We're Not Gonna Take It," by Twisted Sister? Just a friend of mine is being an ass, and I'm tired of it.

Yeah that would be a fitting song for anytime anyone was fed up with something.

Ok, that'll be my song. (By the way, I like your avatar!)

We're Not Gonna Take It - Twisted Sister

We're not gonna take it
No we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore

We've got the right to choose
And there ain't no way we'll lose it
This is our life, this is our song
We'll fight the powers that be just
don't pick our destiny cause
You don't know us, you don't belong

We're not gonna take it
No we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore

Oh you're so condescending
Your gall is never ending
We don't want nothin'
Not a thing from you
Your life is trite and jaded
Boring and confiscated
If that's your best
Your best won't do

Oh, oh we're right, yeah
We're free, yeah, we'll fight yeah
You'll see, yeah

We're not gonna take it
No we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore
No way

Oh, oh we're right, yeah
We're free, yeah, we'll fight yeah
You'll see, yeah
(repeat chorus)

My song.

The Voice Within - Christina Aguilera

Young girl don't cry
I'll be right here when your world starts to fall
Young girl it's alright
Your tears will dry, you'll soon be free to fly

When you're safe inside your room you tend to dream
Of a place where nothing's harder than it seems
No one ever wants or bothers to explain
Of the heartache life can bring and what it means

Chorus:
When there's no one else, look inside yourself
Like your oldest friend just trust the voice within
Then you'll find the strength that will guide your way
You'll learn to begin to trust the voice within

Young girl don't hide
You'll never change if you just run away
Young girl just hold tight
Soon you're gonna see your brighter day

Now in a world where innocence is quickly claimed
It's so hard to stand your ground when you're so afraid
No one reaches out a hand for you to hold
When you look outside look inside to your soul

Chorus

Life is a journey
It can take you anywhere you choose to go
As long as you're learning
You'll find all you'll ever need to know
(Be strong)
You'll break it
(Hold on)
You'll make it
Just don't forsake it because
No one can tell you what you can't do
No one can stop you, you know that I'm talking to you

Chorus

Young girl don't cry I'll be right here when your world starts to fall

This just feels appropriate for some reason...

"Cavanaugh Park" by Something Corporate
At Cavanaugh Park
Where I used to sit
All alone in the dark
And dream about things
That I cannot say
You always said destiny
Would blow me away
And nothing's gonna blow me away

At Cavanaugh Park
Where you used to take me
To play in the sand
And said to me, "Son, one day you'll be a man.
"And men can do terrible things."
Yes they can

And there was never any place
For someone like me to be
Totally happy
I'm running out of clock and that
Ain't a shock
Some things never do change
Never do change

At Cavanaugh Park
We used to get high
Watching teams as they fought
They loved my friend Adam
But he always got caught
Man, that kid made ****ing up look cool
Aren't we all so cool now? No

And there was never any place
For someone like me to be
Totally happy
I'm running out of clock and that
Ain't a shock
Some things never do change
Never do change

Never do change
Never do change
Never do change

At Cavanaugh Park
Where I used to think
That my life would be good
And I would do things
That I thought that I should
And no one's going to tear me down

And there was never any place
For someone like me to be
Totally happy
I'm running out of clock and that
Ain't a shock
Some things never do change

And there was never any place
For someone like me to be
Totally happy
I'm running out of clock and that
Ain't a shock
Some things never do change
Never do change
Never do change
Never do change

On a side note, Hannah I love your siggy. <3 TBS.
