Default Wings Actors Remaking Classic TV Shows

Tim Daly played Richard Kimble in the remake of "The Fugitive". What other shows would you like to see get remade, with a Wings actor in the cast?

Mister Ed: Tony Shalhoub would play Wilbur Post. A part originally played by Alan Young.

My Favorite Martian: Tim Daly as the Bill Bixby character Tim O'Hara.

The Honeymooners: David Schramm as The Great One. Maybe it wouldn't work, but it would be something to see. Heck, Thomas Haden Church could play Norton.

Any More Ideas? I've drawn a blank of classic sitcoms. I know, tragic, considering that I always claim to love shows of the 50's and 60's.

I've always thought that David Schramm and Thomas Haden Church's chemistry together was JUST like Kramden and Norton...especially in the episode where they were Trivial Pursuit partners!

I've also thought that either Tim Daly or Steven Weber could do a great job in a remake of "Love That Bob" (Bob Cummings' old sitcom about a womanizing bachelor photographer).

That's one of the oldies that I've never seen before. Most of the classics I've seen are courtesy of Nick at Nite and TV Land. However, I bought "Amos N' Andy" off of Ebay since that show will likely never be broadcast again.

Thomas Haden Church is best being on a kooky show. I know it's not yet a "classic", but his voice talent REALLY needs to be added to the cast of "Fairly OddParents".

Thomas would also be a funky Darren (or as Endora calls him, Durwood) if there were a new "Bewitched" series.
He's just quirky enough.

Thomas as Darren? Hmmm....Interesting! I could even see him bringing a touch of "Lowell" to the role:

"WOW, Sam...You're really FREAKIN' ME OUT with that nose-twitching stuff!"
