Talking Clay sings the Anthem!

Hello, all!

I hope you Clay fans were watching the beginning of the World Series game tonight! If you weren't, you missed one HECK of a rendition of the National Anthem!

I didn't even know he was going to sing it! Was it promoted at all?

Later.

It was good for the most part, but he was noticeably thrown off by the airplanes flying overhead. I had to deduct a few points for that.

I don't think he was "thrown off". You can't really say that.

See, what happened was, and The Stadium, they flew fighter jets over the field while Clay was singing. It got so loud that he had to stop because he couldn't hear himself! I give him a lot of credit for that, and for remembering where he left off!

It was excellent!

Later.

BTW: Happy 200th post to me!!!

I saw it. It was funny when he had to stop for those jets.

He's one artists I don;t mind about looks...but his voice, it's one of those unique voices...lierally, as he gets older could be in the line of crooners, etc.. Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Engelbert Humberdink, Tom Jones, etc... when he's in his 40's etc... it's true! He is goood!

No I did like it, I like Clay and thought the finish of the anthem was great. He has a strong voice. But from watching alot of sports and seeing the anthem being sung, that's the first time I saw someone actually stop in the middle of it like that. I thought he should/could have just kept going. But Clay is cool.
