One that they seem to keep skipping is "I'm Dancing as Fast as I Can." (I really can't understand why, either.)

In this episode, set in Season 5, we meet Cliff -- Blair's boyfriend. Jo and Blair whisk Mrs. G off to a nightclub for her birthday. This club features male exotic dancers and all are having a good time (nothing too risque.. just healthy guys in costumes stripping down to bathing suits. You know, firemen, cowboys, doctors, stuff like that) We see lots of shots of Mrs. G being embarrassed.

So "Doctor Love" takes the stage and the women go wild. He struts and turns, drops clothing and then finally takes off his surgical mask to reveal ... Cliff! Blair is devastated and runs out of the club.

Later on, Cliff tries to explain that he isn't rich like Blair and needed the money.Dancing there lets him make a lot of cash without spending a lot of time away from his medical studies. She is really having trouble with the way the women were carrying on over him. He wants her to understand that it doesn't mean he doesn't care for her.

As I recall, it doesn't have a neat and tidy ending but we know, from later episodes, that she forgives him and they stay together.

I haven't seen any of these episodes YET i will be getting tapes from people with these episodes sometimes soon but this is what i have heard from other people, seen through pictures, heard through interviews, heard through friends, and so on.. sorry if i got some things mixed up but remember i haven't seen these episodes myself yet... but here you go:

Dope- Blair and Sue Ann want to become friends with a group of girls who smoke pot. When the girls offer pot to Blair and Sue Ann, Blair says no but Sue Ann accepts and Sue Ann writes a term paper while pretty stoned about Mobey Dick. Nat and Tootie went to the record store in town and bought a bong, which they didn't know that it was. (if you are like me and you dont know what a bong was its a device used to smoke pot) and nat and tootie come back to the house/dorm or whatever its called and they ask mrs. garrett what it is and i guess mrs. garrett knows what it is but nat and tootie think its something to put jelly beans in and i guess she is kind of amused by nat and tootie's "innocence" but i saw a picture where Mr. Bradley and Mrs. Garrett were talking to Sue Ann and Blair in their bedroom and they both look ashamed so i think that Mrs. Garrett and Mr. Bradley talk to them about the drugs subject... but Mrs. Garrett wanted to buy a stereo for their house/dorm thing and the girls who had the pot got expelled. Also, Blair had an empty lipstick case that had pot in it and when Mr. Bradley went to search her purse and opened the lipstick case the pot was gone, and Sue Ann later told Blair that she took it and smoked it.

Breaking Point- Blair runs against this girl Cynthia for class president or something and Blair looses (I think, i was always confused about that) and then Cynthia kills herself by overdosing in pills (she pops pills) and Natalie and Tootie found her in her room lying on the floor and they run to tell mrs. garrett and mrs. garrett runs up to see her while jo calls 911 and blair goes to get the school nurse. The girls and Mrs. Garrett all rush to the hospital to see if she's ok and stuff and they find out that she died and didn't make it and the reason that Cynthia tried to kill herself was cuz her parents were getting a divorce or something. But she didnt' make it and i guess mrs. garrett is REALLLY caring and loving and understanding and just REALLLY motherly in this episode and the girls are all devestated and sad and hurt and confused... But i think the girls try to create a help line where teens can go when they feel that they want to kill themselves or something.. but i think this was one of those episodes where at the end the cast gets around and are like if you know anyone who wants to commit suicide there are places to go for help and they give a number or soemthing... you know one of those thigns... that's about all i know on this one.

Fear Strikes Back- The girls all go to a costume party and Natalie was dressed up as Charlie Chaplin and on the way back she is almost attacked and raped and she was lucky to escape but some of the other girls got hurt really bad and one i THINK got raped (not sure) and Natalie will no longer step foot outside or go anywhere at night and is REALLY paranoid and i think she has to be by herself one night but she can't cuz she's scared.. NOT SURE! but the school organizes some special class for the girls to take for self defense and mrs. garrett gets in on the fun. that's all i know on this one... but i know that there is like some HUGE discussion between Mrs. Garrett and Natalie that is VERY EMOTIONAL! (arent they all? hehe)

Front Page- now i dont know much about this one so bear with me. Jo finds out from her favorite teacher that he was at a party one time and cocain was there or something and then she wrote some article about how one of the teachers was at a crack party and then the school board fires him but mrs. garrett got really mad at jo for not getting all of her facts straight before she printed the article and jo's liek waht do you mean? and mrs. garrett's like go talk to him about it you're not gonna hear all the information from me... and she goes and talks to the teacher and he was there for some undercover story or somethign like that somethign totally innocent and she tries to appolagize but he's like well it's too late now... and that's all i know

I'm Dancing As Fast As I Can- Well Mrs. Garrett has yet another birthday and Natalie and Tootie buy her an outfit or somethign like that and mrs. garrett is liek blair, jo what did you get me.. all anxious and they surprise her by taking her to a male exotic dance club, natalie and tootie want to go but aren't allowed to cuz tey are "under age" and so they stay back but mrs. garrett is a little uneasy about going to a strip club at first but then she really gets into it and is like all hyper (the usual) and really into it... (HAHAHA!!!) and then a new striper comes out and its cliff and blair sees that its cliff and she runs out and mrs. g and jo run after her (although i guess mrs. g has a hard time leaving!! HAHAHA!!!) and then i guess the last scene is like REALLY powerful and meaningful between cliff and blair, cuz he comes to the house and they talk and stuff but nobody will tell me what they talk abotu.. oh well.. next!

With A Little Help From My Friends- Blair has a new boyfriend and they are supposed to go out but he says he's waiting for a guy and he gives te name i just dont know it, and jo's like i think that's the campus drug dealer and blair's really scared that he has a drug problem and then her guy comes to the shop and he's liek let's stay around here instead of going out and they play battle ship and somehow the topic of the guy (drug dealer) comes up and he's like oh yea he was waiting for me so i had to go and then she's liek do you have a drug problem and he's like i do cocain but its barely ANYTHIGN and she doesn't think abotu it but he comes like all stoned or somethign and he's liek really fried on coke and she helps him get to normal and then she's like i dont liek the fact that you do drugs its either me or the drugs and he gets really pissed off and he's liek i'd rather have the drugs than a bitchy girlfriend (i think he actually says that swear word) and he leaves and i guess blair REALLY cries, liek real tears and everythign and nat and tootie and jo all comfort her (mrs. garrett is on her trip with her fiancee ted) But this is only stuff i HEARD but i dont know if ANY of it is correct cuz it sounds a little far fetched to me...

Men For All Seasons- natalie has a new boyfriend who is on teh swim team and she somehow gets the idea to make a calendar featureing all the guys on the swim team in their swim suits, but mrs. garrett, blair, jo and tootie all object to selling them in their store but she goes against them anyways and starts selling them and they sell like hotcakes but the guys are being treated like dirt and like "gay" people for posing for a calendar.. that's like ALL i got from it and i dont even know its that's right cuz people have a tendency to stretch the truth.. this one sounds like it too

Ready Or Not- Tootie has a new boyfriend (god all the girls get a new boyfriend except for jo in these episodes huh?) named Rudy and they are getting really close, beverly ann fears that they will be getting more intimate soon but doesnt let it bother her, then when she finds that tootie has bought a sexy lengerie type of thing she fears that she should maybe talk to tootie about it. So Beverly Ann talks to tootei about it and tootie's like oh dont worry i have protection and everything and they go into a whole conversation about safe sex and how to use protection when you do have sex, but tootie is convinced that she can have sex and stuff and its ok, but then when Rudy comes by he's like are you sure you want to do this and she's liek no, i'm not ready and so she doesn't have sex with him.

The First Time- Natalie and Snake really have sex becuase its their 1 year anniversary and when Natalie comes home she looks in the mirror to see if she looks any different but of course she doesn't, later that morning she tells the girls and Beverly Ann that she and Snake had sex last night and Jo was pouring cereal and she is in such shock that she doesn move and the cereal starts to over flow out of the bowl and natalie jumps up and screams when the cereal pours onto her lap and jo tries to help pick it up and stuff and tootie is in such HUGE shock and beverly ann is flipping out about how Edna will kill her for letting natalie have sex and nat's like it was my decision so why should Mrs. Garrett kill you for it? and then a whole episode about that subject...

Now remember everythign i have said here hasn't come from MY mouth, its by articles i've read, people i've talked to, things i've hear or read or seen, and it is not subject to all be TRUE... so please don't hold me against it and correct anything that may be wrong!

It's pretty much what happens except for some things:

Breaking Point-They never go to the hospital they just get a call from the hospital saying that Cynthia was dead.

Fear Strikes Back-No girls were hurt or raped when Natalie was attacked but at the beggining of the episode Mrs. G. tells the girls that a teacher had been raped.

I'm Dancing As Fast As I Can-We never get to see what Blair and Cliff talk about. He just comes to the house and says that he had been thinking about their relationship and asks blair if she wants to talk. Blair says yes, they hold hands and that's it. We learn from later episodes that she forgave him but we never see how they worked things out.

With A Little Help From My Friends-Blair and her new boyfriend Nick were supposed to go out with Jo and Kevin to the movies and then to a lecture but he says he has to wait for a friend becouse he has to give him some notes and then that he (the drug dealer) needs to borrow some money. So they hang arround Mrs. G. shop playing battle ship. Then when Kevin and Jo came back from the movies Jo overheard Nick asking for that Steve guy over the phone and she recognizes the name. She tells Blair that he is the campus connection and that if there's a transaction going on Nick was not lending; he was buying. Blair confronts Nick and he tells her that he has been doing some cocain because he needed the time to study, the coach and for her too. Blair isn't at all happy but they keep waiting. (This is getting really long!) Anyway, after Jo tells Nick that he can put Mrs. G. out of bussiness and everything Blair talks to Nick again and finally she makes him go away to wait for he's friend becouse she's not going to let Mrs. G. shop get busted.

Men For All Season-The guys weren't being treated like dirt or gay. But Langley didn't approve to those calendars and they told Mrs. G. that if she kept selling them she would no longer be selling all the other Langley stuff. So everyone agree to stop selling the calendars except for Natalie but she convinces them.

And one you didn't mention.

A New Life-Blair's upset becouse she thinks her boyfriend (Handyman Ben) is playing loose and fast so she calls her mother for advice. But when she comes she tells her she's pregnant. Blair is really shocked at first but then she's very happy until Monica tells her she's not going to go through it and of course Blair is really upset. Then that night the girls talk about it. Then the next morning Blair comes down and ask her mother to have the baby. That she will adopt it. She would have her life and the baby would have a life. But Monica tells her that it would be the worst failure of her life. That for the 2nd tiem she would be handing over the responsability of her child not to a nanny or a school but to her own daughter. She then says that she can't have a baby, she's 42, she travelled, she had plans. So Blair asks her what she was doing when she had her. She says she travelled, she had plans. And she finally decides to keep the baby

Sure!

Natalie writes an article for the school paper about abortion. But to make a bigger impact, after Tootie tells her about her imaginary friend from childhood, she writes about a made up student at Eastland that had just had an abortion. Mr. Parker then preassures Natalie to reveal the identity of this student. At the same time one student (don't remember her name right now) comes to Natalie and tells her that she doesn't know how she found out about her and they began to talk. So now Natalie can be off the hook because she has a name to give to Mr. Parker. But she finally does the right thing and tells Mr. Parker that the hole story was made up.

Do you need any other?

Do you have these episodes on tape? If you do I'd be very interested in getting them from you. My e-mail is in my profile.

Sad

I have them but most of them are in spanish. The only ones in english are "I'm Dancing As Fast As I Can", "With A Little Help From My Friends", "A New Life" and "Men For All Seasons" and they have subtitles. So I don't know... It's up to you.

Wow, how did you get those? Thanks anyway, I guess I'll wait until I'm REALLY desperate. Haven't taken Spanish in a while.

Well, unless it's from seasons 5 to 9 I can't help you. And as I told you they are in english but some of them have subtitles.

I have almost everysingle episode of Facts of Life with the exception of 2 or 3 (or possibly more, I am not sure). Let me go and see which episodes I do not have. Be right back. Ok I am back! I DO NOT have:

1. The Source
2. A New Life
3. Wedding Day
4. Post-Christmas Card
5. Sweet Charity (was shown on Nick at Nite, but I missed it)
6. Up From Down Under (was shown on Nick at Nite, but I missed it)
7. On the Edge

Otherwise, I have all of the other episodes of Facts of Life!

Just thought you might like to know that. Because I am very exclusive on getting the "facts" straight!

Red face

Another one that they are skipping is Growing Pains, which was seen on Make Your Own Sunday a while ago, but they never show it on the line-up! That's the one where Tootie gets drunk, and almost gets thrown out of Eastland! And The Post Christmas Card was skipped too.
