Thumbs down Lisa Should Have Been Mrs. Zack Morris!

I always thought that Zack only went for Kelly because she was a popular cheerleader who was nice to look at. I never saw him admire her for anything else. With Lisa, it seemed like there was more of a connection, mainly because they had more memories with each other since childhood. Plus, Lark worked with Mark-Paul longer than any of the other girls on the series. Anyone else think that Lisa was a better choice for Zack?

I agree with you two. I love the episode with Lisa and Zach togther. i wish it would have lasted. And i real real with that Lisa had went to college with the boys and not Kelly.

im not say i hate Kelly it's just that i love Lisa better and i think Zach and Lisa is better.

Sorry I have to disagree. Lisa was Screeches girl and they never couldve worked that angle had Lisa and Zack been together. Now you may say that he could have just chased another girl like Kelly or Jessie but it would not have been the same. Lisa played the part perfectly. Plus I just couldnt imagine Zack without Kelly. It would be like Peanut Butter without Jelly!

I didn't really see any chemistry between Lisa & Zack at all. The chemistry was definitely there between Zackl & Kelly, and I think Zack liked Kelly for more than just looks. Like in the episode where Kelly wanted homecoming queen, and Zack got on her back for only caring about her looks.

The chemistry between Lisa and Screech was only in his imagination; there was nothing there. The time that Zack and Lisa 'kissed' sent some sparks flying for a little while. IT wou;d've been interesting to see them as a pair instead of Zack falling for the cheerleader type

Hmm I'm a big Zack and Kelly fan so I'd have to say that Lisa and Zack wouldn't have made a good couple, though Zack and Lisa had more chemistry than Zack and Jessie IMO.

@C_Me, i don't even know you but i already love you for making this thread! lol..............i agree with you wholeheartly!

I hated that the "Bayside Triangle" was the only romantic link we seen of them on-screen. i always been a fan of Zack and Lisa's (Zisa!!) romance storyline. I LOOOOVED them as a couple, they were so gorgeous together! so hawt! and if you look at old episodes such as "Operation Zack", "Lisa's Card", and "Fake I.Ds", you can feel the WICKED chemistry between them! Both of them probably wanted to explore it early on back then on the show, but the idiot writers/producers dismissed the idea! Pushin this whole Zelly romance so effin stupid they didn't have the zing that Zisa had! (In real life Zisa had better chemistry than all of the other cast members, from '89-92, the longest and most serious relationship). NBC was afraid, they were scared that if they contunued with the romance of Zack and Lisa, then Kelly would be forgotton, and she would have been! hell, he forgot all about his best friend's feelings! I like Kelly, but she had NOTHING ON LISA! Lisa had style, flair, attitude, spazz, spunk, not to mention that she's DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! I rather watch 6 Lisas on Saved by the Bell, than 6 Kellies, Kelly was the sweetheart from next door type of girl, but she's a BORE/PALED in comparison to Lisa, sorry.........

After the series ended, the only other time we seen Lisa again was in the Wedding Movie (which stunk!) i think that Lisa secretly wishes that it was her that was getting married (there were little hints that suggested that deep down, she didn't want Kelly to marry Zack, but wishes it was her instead) I wish she had the balls to object to the wedding.
The Wedding Movie sucked! (yea i said it) just for the simple fact that the wrong woman was getting married to Zack Morris. It's atrocious that the damn writers didn't explore more with this romance. (I guess it had something to do with the whole 'interracial couple' issue, but grow up!! it was the damn 90s and times were definitely more modern and different as opposed to the previous decades!) If they actually explored the interracial romance into the damn movie and the show, maybe it would have been better and got a better rating. It would have added more depth to the story, it would have been interesting to see both of their families opposing to the marriage not only because they were too young, but racial/cultural differences as well, It would have been dope to see rival gangs such as KKK and the Black Panthers chasing the couple all around, disgusted that they see an interracial couple happy and in-love. There is so many more directions they could have went with the story with 'Mark & Lark'. But unfortunately, we as fans would never get to see that happen, BOOOO!!

At the beginning of the nuptials, I remembered seeing a glimpse of Lisa in a cold-blooded white dress and her hair was straightened out flowing down her back, she looked BEAUTIFUL! Lisa may not have got the man, but she got a lil victiory out of lookin better than the BRIDE at the wedding! lol poor Kelly, that short 'do was NOT working for you boo boo........
