I taped yesterday's episode, but haven't watched it yet. So I can't comment on it. However, we'll start discussing "Home Sweet Trailor" which is the debut of the Kirkwoods. It aired last night at 3:00am, but I missed it. Luckily they show the same episode at 5:00pm. So I'll talk about it later.

Well, the Kirkwoods are not the Addisons. But I guess they'll do. I loved it when Ed tripped Gordon for slapping on the behind. And it was so obvious when Gordon fell into the bucket of water.
Now that Kay is gone, they didn't explain her absence either. Which really bugs me, because now when I watch the first three seasons I'll wonder what happened to them. I guess having Roger die would be too sad for a fun show about a talking horse. BTW, I think Ed being able to talk is the least of his talents. He can surf, sing, play instruments, put on clothes etc.. As for "Love Thy New Neighbor" it really seemed like just the second part to "Home Sweet Trailor." I never noticed Wilbur being that much of a klutz before. |

Moko
This episode is would be a perfect "Jumped the Shark" moment. I mean Mister Ed is a silly show, but this was just ridiculous. Out of 5 stars, I'll give it a 2. * * Ed in the Peace Corps It was alright. But it really got me missing the Addisons. I give it also, 2 stars. * * What about your views. |

I enjoyed "Ed in the Peace Corps" very much. It's one of the better episodes that I have seen so far. I rate it a 9 (out of 10).

95. "Ed Gets the Mumps"
This is actually one of the best episodes in my opinion. It remained enjoyable throughout the episode. And I liked how in the end, Mr. Ed cared enough about the baby to rock it to sleep. Ed's just a big softie. And that's why I like him. I give it 5 out of 5 stars. * * * * * I didn't watch the other episode yet. I taped it, though. |

I liked the Moko episode. As silly as it was, I enjoyed watching the Colonel and that crotchety old general act kooky, especially the Colonel.
I liked episode with the baby too and it made me wonder why The Posts never had any children of their own. However these episodes make me miss The Addisons. It's so sad that Larry Keating died during the run of the show. The Kirkwoods just don't compare to The Addisons. The Colonel is an ok character and Leon Ames was a good character actor, but Winnie is just a bore. I miss Roger's snobbery. I miss Roger and Kay's contentiousness, and their sardonic sense of humor. I miss hearing Kay call Roger "doll" and Carol "sweetie" |

From what I've seen of the Kirkwoods, they're okay. I think they should have kept Kay and replaced her husband. If they can bring a new Darrin on Bewitched....
I wish I could weigh in more, but I haven't been able to stay awake until 3am to watch it. I should check and see if it airs during the day because I was getting into it. |

I only watch the 5 &5:30 episodes so I know what time they are on. And "Wings" just recently moved to 3:30am and that's one of my favorite shows, so I had that time in my head. As for the 9, well ... my bad.

I didn't care for the Pine Lake Lodge episode. Our loveable horse, Mister Ed, was hardly in it. We see him only in the introduction and conclusion of the episode. I was kind of annoyed because Mister Ed is like the premise of the whole show but yet he's hardly in this episode.

The Dragon Horse- ***
Just a silly little nitpick I guess the writers forgot that in one episode a couple seasons back that Mr Ed's birthday was on August 28 which would make him a Virgo. He even had a birthday party. If you want to talk Zodiac signs Mr Ed seems more like a Leo. Also in a more recent episode Wilbur had a birthday and I think the original airdate was November 10, 1964(or 1963) which would make Wilbur a Scorpio. Oh well that's television. Why didn't Wilbur just cover the dragon with a blanket or towel? I love it that it was Ed that dove down to get the dragon.
