how many bowls of cereal did they eat during season 9? LOL. Seems like every episode had a scene of them eating Corn Flakes toward the end.

You noticed too? In "up from down under" there were like 3 scenes where they were eating Corn Flakes!

I know, I mentioned that once before. Literally, this must've been what was going through the writer's minds. "Ok, we need them to be doing something while they're talking.... hmmm... YES! I've got it! We'll have them eating cereal. People love cereal. Perfect." I think they might just have been Seinfeld's inspiration. They really did eat cereal in like every episode by the end. The later the season, the more cereal they ate. Must've been because Mrs. G wasn't their personal chef anymore.

Yeah, I guess without Mrs. G around there wasn't much left to eat. Beverly Ann doesn't strike me as the cooking type.

i noticed it too but i wasnt sure if they were eating corn flakes or Frosted flakes i couldnt tell but i did notice the cereal

Good grief! I think we've hit upon something here... "The Facts of Life: The Cereal Year!"

The cornflakes moment that just *sticks* in my memory is from "The First Time." Jo, Tootie and Natalie are in the kitchen having breakfast when Nat tells them that she slept with Snake. Jo is shaking cereal into her bowl when the announcement is made and she just freezes in place -- cornflakes keep raining into her bowl, pouring and pouring -- while she looks up at Nat with this "What did you say?!" expression on her face.

I love that scene! There was cereal all over the table. And Jo expression was just too funny. Also did you notice that there was some cereal eating during the last year or Edna's Edibles? Like in the episode where Kevin moves to the attick.
