Default Scariest commercial ever?

What's the scariest commercial you have ever seen? Copied from www.voy.com/140582/, a visitor writes,

"Well it's be a tie between those annoying preachy ads and those select few that have scared the **** out of and disturbed many viewers. The one I call "attic drowning" is probably the most disturbing commercial I have ever seen. This guy who talks in a grave manner like Robert Stack from Unsolved Mysteries narrates the commercial, while this teenage girl is clutching a giant teddy bear and highly morbid piano music plays in the background, then not quite halfway through they add a string and choir ensemble while water pours in and she tries the window on the top trying to get out while the water rises, it doesn't open, and then you see her lifeless, dead body floating in the submerged attic while the morbid music ends on a freakishly dramatic chord. It wasn't just the content that caused me to deem it "Scariest Commercial Of All Time", it's the times they played it. Usually at late hours when you're about to go to sleep. Aside from the disturbing atmosphere and morbid music, it comes off as yet another preacy "anti drug" commercial. Now don't get me wrong, I don't, never have, and never will use drugs, but I think that many of these commercials tend to be more preachy than anything. Anyone else remember this commercial?"

I thought this commercial was frightrening too.

I don't remember that commercial, but there was a commercial for Dryel (the one where you can dry-clean your dry-clean onlys safely in the dryer) nearly two years ago that really gave me the creeps. All the people that were in it were MANNEQUINS!!!! You hear a voice-over as the lady mannequin is standing in an empty store window...She slides towards the dryer machine in the back of the empty store, and the voice-over continues...YOu only see her head as she takes off her clothes, tosses them into the Dryel bag, seals it and tosses it into the dryer with two mannequin men leering at her in the background. Then you see her sitting next to the dryer, reading a newspaper with the whole thing spread out so you can't see her privates...Voice over continues...she takes her clothes out of the Dryel bag, puts them back on and goes to stand in the store window again.

I HATED THAT COMMERCIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've probably seen some scary commercials- I just can't remember them. I've seen a commercial for NIKE to be screened during the olympics, where the rip off Scream, the killer is chasing a woman and he has a hacksaw, she's wearing Nike and outruns him, the killer runs out of breath, stops and pants- takes of his mask and gives up- the caption is sumthing like 'Why Sport?'

I didn't think it was scary, but there was an Orkin commercial years back that ran in Chicago. They were showing some commercial about some laundry detergent when a roach starts to crawl all over the screen. On the 9 o'clock news, a few days after I saw teh commercial for the first time, they said these woman were freaking out and started to hit their tv because they thought the roach was real. One even broke her screen because she was so scared. I always get a good laugh whenever I see that commercial now.

lol, whenever that came on I seriously thought it was real, too. I realized after, though, never hit my screen.

Haha, the Orkin commercial ALWAYS gets me. I'm always like, "HOLY! Wait..."

Yeah, I remember the drowning commercial. That was icky.

What about that raspy lady from a year or two ago who can barely talk because of her cigarette smoking? Ugh. It's even worse when you hear it on the radio.

There's a local tire commercial (Discount tires) here that's been running for years that gives me the creeps for some reason. An old woman walks up to the front of the store, tosses a big tire through the window and then a man talks about how, if you don't like their tires, just bring 'em back.

Another one is an ad campaign for smoking, where you see thousands of body bags being tossed into a dump truck.

For a while there used to be a commercial about domestic abuse/alcoholism. Anyways, the husband came home late at night and he and his wife were in the kitchen and the little boy was upstairs on the steps listening. The father is screaming complaining how he's been working all day and wants dinner etc. the wife is arguing back and then he smacks her and the little boy jumps. I hated that commercial.. gave me the creeps. There was another one about alcoholism about a father and his son.. the boy dropped a glass and you can see the shadow of the father whacking the boy HARD across the face. Im with Kelsey about that security commercial too.

When I was younger, I was afraid of Eagleman. I thought he'd land on our car and wreck the top of it.

Anyone remember the commercial with Racheal Leigh Cook "This is your brain. This is your brain on drugs..." lol I loved that commercial. I ever dared soemone to do that to their kitchen, but they wouldn't do it. Oh well...
