Is there a way it will be possible to ask them via email? Usually, shows appearing on that channel are wholesome family value shows such as 7th Heaven and Growing Pains. It would be great if 8SR did get aired....

They ouoght to, but there is no mention on ABC's page or on zap2it.com. I really feel cheated by ABC because it seems they have been hyping themselves up in articles by saying they're going to continue airing reruns until the new episodes air. Is that true? Well, half correct. They DID air ONE of season one's episodes and then..bam... they stopped? That's like backing up on their word... It's not fair! Half of my taped 8SR epidoes are in low sound quality, and I would've liked to replace those.

They will. It may be a year or two though. Be patient.

I'm almost positive that it'll be on ABC Family!

They have a feedback page, but they won't send you a reply back, it's mainly for them to "publish". I really wish they would bring something to ABC Family, the Olsen twins are(will be in December) on too much.

There is no way it will air on ABC Family right away (that's why ABC Family has only aired two episodes, ABC wants to save the syndication value). Unless, it gets canceled on ABC in less than 4 seasons, then ABC Family could buy it cheap and start airing the reruns right away. ABC and Touchstone wants it to get at least 5 seasons so it could end up on regular syndication on locals then cable 2-3 years after that. Possibly on a big cable channel like TBS. That would be the best possible outcome (last at least 5 seasons on ABC, reruns on locals, then cable few years after).

Actually week John Ritter died, I figured they would cancel "8SR" and rerun it on ABC Family. Since that didn't happen, I thought ABC Family would rerun it, so that we could watch the John Ritter episodes during the day and every Tuesday watch a new episode.
Plus, since ABC Family loves the Olsen twins, and Martin Spanjers (Two of a Kind) and Amy Davidson (So Little Time) worked with them in two ABC Family shows, it just seemed to fit.

I do hope "8SR" makes it to 5 seasons and becomes successful in syndication.

After the first two episodes aired on 9/17/02 and 9/24/02, ABC Family aired both episodes of 8 Simple Rules on Saturday 9/28/02, and both Life With Bonnie's, and the pilot of That Was Then on an "ABC Plus" Marathon.
