I agree. It was touching near the end though.

It was pretty good, but definitely a tad bit boring. 15 - 20 minutes to the end, I thought it was the very last episode of 7th Heaven, I mean the look back of the whole series. Was Monday's ep. the last ep. with Simon?

Okay, here's my personal opinion and I have to get it off my chest. Please no one get offended, it's just my opinion.

Worst. Episode. EVER!! I don't think you could even call that an episode. It wasn't even a clip show, it was a slide show of still photographs. As those of you have already said, it was boring with a capital B. I am so so so disappointed because Simon is one of my favorite characters and considering this was his last regular episode, that was an awful send-off. Poor David Gallagher having to recite a monologue for 1 hour.

They could have done so much better for Simon, and given him a proper final episode. I wouldn't have minded if it included clips, as long as they were actual clips from the show! And they should have been clips of him and the Camden siblings interacting. Lucy and Mary being there for each other, for example. Or Matt looking out for his younger siblings. The Ruthie-Simon duo when they were younger. *sigh* Instead we get a run-down of every "friend" and "girl/boyfriend" that have crossed the Camdens' path. Most of these people were on the show for 1 episode - I don't care about them! I really wanted to see Simon say goodbye to his family, and interact with his siblings one last time. Even the surprise goodbye party would have been better than this.

The only good part of the episode is when Simon actually talked to the camara at the end.

Oh and did anyone notice that the Camdens had a photograph of Jimmy Moon getting arrested on their mantlepiece? That is just so ridiculous its funny. And I won't even get into the fact that the "video" was Simon's "application" to college. Puh-lease.

Sorry to go off like that. I am just upset that that's what they chose to do for Simon's last episode! Was anyone else disappointed?

** ducking **

I enjoyed the entire show. Well, actually, I enjoyed about 35 minutes of it, missed the very first part.

It was interesting to hear what all he had to say, about hiis family and all the adventures they all lived through.

I thought the photos were good, and brought back memories of the past shows.

I also felt that David has never looked better; he has grown into a very nice looking young man.

I didn't think the show was so bad. My mom hated it though. I would've liked to see Simon actually interview his family instead of just talking about them. At least that would've given the other actors something to do lol.

Yes,I totally agree. They could have did a lot better, and that could have been a very touching show, but they made it a very bland and boring episode. I would have to say that its one of the worst episodes ever made. Just my opinion though.

Default BORING

I agree this was not the best episode. If this was supppsed to be Simon's college application tape, then it was too long. I think they could done a 10 minute version of reflection, then given Simon (David) a proper farewell.

Didn't Cecilia. Peter, or somebody say the week before that the Camdens were having a party to say goodbye to Simon? At any rate, this week's show was disappointing. Ol' Aaron Spelling just had to get in on it too with having his picture on. Poor taste!
