Question FOL character changes

hey everyone...i've noticed since the later seasons have been airing, my character tastes are changing. lol. like, jo & blair used to be my favorite...but it seems lately nat is getting the really funny lines, and she's slowly turning into my favorite. is anyone else noticing that the characters seem to be changing a little? or does everyone still have the same "favorite character" they've had forever?

------------------
Blair: Another brilliant idea just popped into my head.
Jo: Oh, don't scare it! It's a lonely place up there.

I know what you mean... cause' Nat was probably the most consistently funny person on the show for it's nine seasons...
Not my favorite character though.
See, my favorite character is Jo from seasons 2-5. She was just the coolest then. Then sadly, she just got predictable and boring AND buggy(gasp!) Blair was probably the one who least changed over the years(not fashion or hair-wise!). She sorta held the show together after it started to dwindle.
And Tootie... I don't know... she was cool before she got the braces.

There are some changes on the show that I like and some I don't. For instance Blair's hair..well..the perm I just don't like that much..lol. However, I know some of you may disagree with me, but I find the show better with George and Andy -- but I just don't necessarily like Pippa and Beverly Ann that much. I would have perfered Mrs. Garett to stay. One of the other changes I did not like was the fact that (and I know some of you may not have noticed this) the jokes may have died down. In the 2nd - 5th season every second the laughing machine was going off..I don't hear it going of as MUCH anymore. But all of those above you just my opinions..

Good topic!

Let's see.... During the show's original run on NBC, I loved Jo. She was my favorite, hands down. My tastes have changed a little bit. I love her during the Eastland years. I love her when she is feuding with Blair. But in the post-Eastland years, she became "soft" and wasn't as much fun. The moments I liked with her in the later years were her more tender moments with Blair. I loved her and Blair in "Sisters" when they were giving their parents their blessings. But other than a few brief moments like that, she loses her rank as my favorite.

Blair. Consistently my favorite now. She's always been fake and shallow. Even as her character developed, they kept these identifying traits. Love her!

Natalie, from season 5 forward, is a crack up! I love her so much! Not to mention, you can tell at this point she is really beginning to shed a few pounds and is looking good!

Tootie, I don't like very much. She gets to me. As others have posted, once she gets the braces, it's all downhill.

Season 7 is when Tootie started to annoy me and her friends. LOL.

I used to like Blair and Jo (although Jo really needed to smile a little more) but the Jo became softer and began loosing some edge. So i guess I guess my favorite has to be Blair. I think she was the most consistent character throughout the entire run of the show. She always kept her shallowness although the writers allowed her to grow a lot too. I just love her. Natalie was great too and very consistent as well. But Tootie (as it's been said) really got on my nerves sometimes. Espesially after she got the braces. She was really cute on the first seasons though.

Back when I first saw the Jo episodes (season 2 - end) show in the marathons and up until a month or so ago I like Jo. Now..........I, just don't

Blair = shallow and self-obsessed. Blair was, uh, Blair.

Natalie is my new favorite. Especially in the later seasons. They new the show was getting stale, so they gave more lines and stuff to Natalie to keep the show popular. One of the only good moves of the later years

Tootie talks too much.

Ms. G, was great @ first, then kinda got stale like mst the other characters, eventually left.

The rest were little add-ons to keep the show from ending up like the first season (stinker)

Jo has always been my favorite character. I like the fact that she became "softer" as the show progressed. It's realistic. When she first came to Eastland, she was very tough and defensive. I think that as she began to feel more comfortable, she lightened up a bit and let down her guard. She's still tough, though.

ohhh....same here!!! First my favorite was Tootie in the first season. Then in the 2nfd it was Blair. It was Blair for a while then it became Jo, then toward the end of the show it was Nat! LOL, I love them all equally deep down though!
