In an episode of I Love Lucy, Lucy buys a present for Ethel and says that she saw it in Harper's Bizaar, to which Ethel replies "It sure it Bizaar." Isn't Harper's Bizaar a magazine the witches read in Bewitched?

He was the director of both "Bewitched" and "I Love Lucy". You wonder how sometimes the show references "I love Lucy" in scenes, dialogue and sometimes plotlines? Well, I think that Bill Asher wanted to pay homage to the show that made him popular in teh television business.

I think there was criticism about one episode from Bewitched that used a laugh track from I Love Lucy. So there is definately some overlap.

Didn't Sandra Gould (the second Gladys) appear in an episode of "I Love Lucy"???

Sandra Gould appeared in the late Lucy episode "Lucy and the Loving Cup". as a communtor at a New York train station where Lucy gets lost with a loving cup stick on her head .

On "I Love Lucy", she was also "Nancy Johnson" in the "Oil Wells" episode. So she's been there two times.

Remember when Verna Felton of December Bride applied for a job as a maid on I Love Lucy and when Samantha was hiring a maid on Bewitched?

The Bewitched dialogue was almost verbatim from Lucy.

Lucy Hires a Maid
Lucy can't take care of house and baby. Hires maid. Mrs Porter acts like Lucy is maid. Lucy tries to fire her but can't. Lucy, Ethel & Fred mess up house to scare Mrs Porter away, but Ricky has already fired her.

On one of the Bewitched maid episodes (Samantha's Yoo Hoo Maid or Maid To Order???) the prospective maid makes the same demands on Samantha as Mrs. Porter did on I Love Lucy (i.e., having a large TV set, and must have Wednesday afternoons off, etc).

I don't remember other instances of this dialogue stealing on Bewitched, but it's possible.
