How come the HD board(and other tv show boards) can have useless random posts yet CC can't have one? Its not like they have anything to do with the tv show....

dont know, but we havent had any fights or complaints in there, so that may have something to do with it...

actually um.. someone has talked about someone else in there.

but the "i put the post total back" or whatever thread was starting to go off topic and it got closed right away. not fair. seems like favoritism for happy days... and biasedness is stoopid.

We've had the 'random' threads far longer than there was a random board. Like it was said, we all get along well, we all follow the rules (1000 post limit) and it isnt like we dont post topics about Happy Days either. We're all fans of the show and it isnt like we raided the board to talk.

Those threads aren't right imo. Many times, members will talk about other members in there with out them knowing. Brian talked about me with out me knowing, Dorothy and MacGyver Gurl talk about Holly many times. It is bull. I don't think random threads should be on any tv show board.

Actually, if it wasn't for Megan, there would be no such thing as a random posts. Chit Chat started them far, far earlier than any other board.

...and ? Dorothy and Holly would've (and did) fight and talk about each other wherever they posted - whatever their problem was, it certainly wasn't because of people talking on the Happy Days board.

I'd say these fights are more due to a lack of respect for others, and that can be abused in any thread where others in our community are willing to tolerate it....

Yeah thats what i was talking about when i said "someone has talked about someone else in there" i just didnt wanna say any names. if we cant talk **** on the random board we shouldnt be allowed to talk **** there.

Yeah... Ive seen other threads where people talk about other people. Or threads that are like practically slamming a person-- you can tell just by the title. Then the fight starts and its closed.


And yea, Ive always felt that people had something against us at that board for some reason. Just my observation, but I dont think Im alone.


As for Chris.. when I first started the 'random' thread on the HD board I was bored and everyone was waiting for the trivia way back last summer of 2002. From there it took off. We havent had any major problems, and IMO its not hurting anyone. Like I said before.. it isnt like we're not fans of Happy Days. Its all our favorite show. Its a place to meet. It gets kinda dull talking about HD all the time.. we've covered every topic 10 times and it gets old.

I, personally, dont always check that board 24/7 but if you have a serious problem with a post someone made.. report it. I am the moderator and will check it out.
