"I think the title of the episode is "Dear Diary et al"--it's the one where Gidget's father gets the idea that she's having sex from reading her diary and confronts her with it with the result being a very serious quarrel between the two. In many ways, it was a very daring episode for its time in that it dealt with some rather hot button issues in an intelligent manner. Not only did it very subtlely touch on teenage sex (remember they had to get this by the censors), it also looked at the issue of trust. It was also a very powerful episode in that we did get to see that the "perfect" relationship between Gidget and her father wasn't always that perfect.

To me, definitely the best episode of the series.

I think that episode was cutting edge too because of the idea of a teenage girl wanting her boyfriend to not date other girls while she dated other boys was new. That was more of a guy's viewpoint.

I don't know the titles of the episodes, but the one where LaRue and Gidget tried to meet their musical idols (a version of the Beatles), they hid in the mansion and then they assisted with the one band member who was trying to leave with his wife off the property. I love that episode!!!!!!

I also love the diary episode.

That's "Ringa-Ding-Dingbat." I like that one too.

I liked that one as well.

I thought it was hysterical when they showed (on Gidget's Television) what was supposed to be newsreel footage of the Dingbats' plane arriving at the airport, as they came to America for the first time...and they used the actual footage of the Beatles' plane arriving in New York.

They even showed actual footage of Beatles fans waiting at the airport, then they cut to a shot of the two Dingbats waving to the crowds! That was too funny!!
