Who had the better friendship together? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Who do you think, had the better friendship together? Vernie/Shirl or Lenny/Squiggy? I'd say they were both equally good. But, I always thought Lenny/Squiggy seemed closer in their friendship, then Laverne/Shirley did in theirs. Just my opinion. I know sometimes the girls would fight, and sometimes I think beat each other up. I don't think they showed the boys doing that, but I know sometimes they got annoyed with each other. But, all in all they were all wonderful buddies.

Did Vernie buy her L's somewhere, or did she make them? was it ever mentioned?

Hope they bring this show back sometime!!!!! I sure miss Lenny/Squiggy, coming in through the door annoying the girls. Who could forget Squiggy's hellos, Shirl's Boo Boo Kitty, or Vernie's L's? Also like I said I would love, to see a female Lenny/Squiggy!

I think Rhonda was kinda like one.

Both. Though I prefer the girls & can't stand Lenny & Squiggy. I miss the show sooo much! Why did Nick @ Nite & TV Land take of L&S? Cheers is also gone!

Lenny and Squiggy were my favorite, The girls had a better friendship though. Squiggy didn't treat Lenny too nice at times.

I personally found Lenny and Squiggy to have a slightly better friendship than Laverne and Shirley.The girls were famous for their violent fights.I only remember one episode where the boys fought so badly,that Lenny fell out the window and broke his leg.And I got a kick out of their common playful phrase they,d use to eachother at the same time,"Stupiiiiid".It looks as if actors Micheal McKean and David L.Lander are the best of friends in real life as well.From what I,ve read,actresses Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams were not the best of friends.
