Question Bus Drivers

Does anyone else (or *has* anyone else) seen or experienced some total jerk bus drivers? These are the cretins who see some poor soul running to catch the bus but don't stop because either they weren't Waiting At The Stop or wanna play god for a few seconds w/ em. This consists of slowing down till the person reaches the bus after running, waits for them to knock frantically on the door, pretend to barely notice them & then maybe let em in. I swear. Thankfully, I wasn't the victim this time, but damn. They're busdrivers, for cryin out loud. The way they play that game, you'd think they worked in Hollywood.....but I gotta admit- *sometimes* when you're on the bus looking out the window & it's some funny looking mo-fo doing the running, it can be hilarious.

I haven't ridden a bus since....I dunno. Oh yeah, a shuttle bus to the Phoenix NASCAR race, but I don't remember the driver.

My bus driver is cool. He drives over curbs and into lawns all the time. Plus he says he's in a rap group that's about to be famous

"my name is M-A-C mac!"

yeah, I can tell he has rap skills. He's so funny.

This a *school* bus driver? I meant public bus drivers. But he does sound like a scream!

A car is the way to go. Some bus drivers get tired of crabby riders and develop into mean folks.

I've only been on a public bus a few times and never had any bad experiences. I hated the school bus though. Most of the drivers were idiots. We had this one driver who would stop for gas before dropping the kids off. While she was pumping the gas all the kids had to get off the bus. I also remember having assigned seats which was also a drag.

When my brother was in fifth grade, he had a really mean bus driver. In the end the bus ended up in a ditch upside-down. No one was hurt though.

In highschool and middle school we loved our bus driver. I had the same one for seven years and we always loved to sit up front and chat with her. She's cool. Jeez, wonder whatever happened to her.

We have a nice group of public bus drivers on and around campus. It's an unspoken law around here that whenever you get on a bus they say "hi" to you and when you get off you say "thank you." It sounds stupid, but it's really appreciated by both sides.

There was this one school bus driver that I liked the first year he drove me but the second year he sucked big time. He was sucking up to this sophomore that harassed the other people on the bus, including me. He wouldn't do so much as yell at her if she did something wrong. One time she spilled soda all over the bus and he yelled at us right after she got off the bus. He would blame us for stuff that she started. I hated him and lost all respect for him. He and I always talked about baseball and stuff the year before and it wasn't until a couple of grades later that I found out that he had cancer. The last time I heard, he is alive and retired.
