Hey all - thanx for replies on "Comments" thread. Here we go.
Seems like sinatrastar's suggestion of a side thread is a good, workable idea, anyone could plug away on it when possible. We each can't work on separate sections because when you combine them, the whole alphabetizing needs regrouping. Later, when up-to-date, when can reinsert the list into the game. I don't know how long the thread will fit on one post, but we'll deal w/ that if/when it happens. Cool this may work, may not, let's see what happens. When I did that list, I used none of the vb code stuff, that way you could copy directly from the post - except I did make the font size on the whole list size 1, instead of the default size (I think 3). Since the list will get huge, this will save some space and it is a fine size for the list. I made the epi titles in all caps, with the epi # in parentheses after the title. Episode titles are the ultimate name game posting ![]() It looks I also put an occasional short note in parentheses behind some items or quotes, they should be REALLY short. A real list would probably have and episode listing behind the word, makes it very credible.... but that should prob be done by the person who originally posts the word, too much work/time for the list organizers to do I put "2X" or "3X" if a word was used that many times. To stay consistent, we all want to do it exactly the same, it's a list. If you need help w/ font size, say so. Take your time, be accurate! If you don't have the time, & should be doing chores, honey-dos, job or homework or whatever wait 'til you can pay attention, if it's inaccurate it will be worthless, as I mentioned, if this lists logs thousands of entries, it becomes a looked at Seinfeld reference.Make sure you change the "up to" number at the top of the list. My suggestion is to copy the list, paste it on an email or your word processor, then put it right next to the Seinfeld Game (each window a half screen) and type away. You just insert the word where it goes alphabetically. Do a set and re-paste it in this list thread and we can build on each other. One you do enough words you'll get protective of the list & it will grow. Don't go away with it too long because you'll come back & someone may have posted a bunch your working on. If you have a better method, please kick it ![]() Brian, if we are undertake this, should it be sticky/?/? |

Nice work sinatrastar. took us up to #314, the only thing is, your post stops at the "T"s.
Re: the font size: It doesn't matter what size it is one your word processor, once you paste it on the forum it becomes the forum default size (which is a different scale/numbers than our word processors. As I mentioned, I made the list forum size #1. To do that, you just put [size=1] before your post (no spaces), and [/size} your post, except make the }, a ]. Everything in between the tags will be size 1. I couldn't do that to show you otherwise you wouldn't see my text, if I did it correct it would just change my font. I'll edit (to get rid of) my list above yours, once yours is locked and correct. |

Too bad, 'cause to me, the game seems a little purposeless w/o some quality control & a used list.
You basically can say any word (several times) & kind of tie it to the show... Oh well, good effort sinatrastar, I put down a couple hun & you started trying to get us moving forward. I figured it would be too much work. & btw, if people constantly reply to a thread, it doesn't need a stick, it stays at the top any who
